That's pie, we were talking cake. You like to bake and all that jazz. I really have to be in the mood, especially to do it from scratch. But I've got a "from scratch" recipe for the apple cake, on the off chance occasions I prefer to do it that way.

'Morning!

Continuing to have sucky computer problems today. Took me 25 minutes and two IT guys just to sign in today. The Head is not happy. Heads will roll by week's end.

Open House went well, though. Over 400 families came to visit. I was hoarse by the end of the 5 hours and my feet were killing me, but it was a beautiful day and everyone seemed happy.

That sounds like the opening of a Law & Order episdode, Moony. It all begins with a missing coffee mug, you go to look for it and find the student body, then Jerry Orbach, miraculously, makes a joke, and it all turns out to be the principal whose father was the janitor but got made fun of by the father of the dead student (who, coincidentally, was also murdered a decade ago) when they were, also coincidentally, students at the very same school.

Sally Field makes a cameo as you. Rath plays the principal. Pick anyone on the main board to play the dead student.
