Morning peoples! Happy Wednesday!!!

I slept in and then had to go to a bridal store right after work so did not get back into my area in time to vote. Another dress and shoes picked out, but don't need to go purchase until Jan/Feb at least. Not fond of the dress but the color is pretty. And then dinner with two newlywed couples and two soon to be newlywed couples. Thank god it was taco night!!

btw - belated congrats to Mrs. Brd.

Am supposed to be headed into NYC for a trade show at the Javits Center but not really feeling it.

That's pretty much why I doubt I am heading in. I would have to be out by 3 to miss rush hour Port Authority traffic. My original plan was to get tickets to see a show or something tonight but feel lazy on that too. oops.

I have not seen a full showing of Damn Yankees in years. Le sigh - the things I miss being on the left coast.

Talked to the recruiter last night. He seemed pretty excited about my background. We will see what he says after he looks at my Resume.

It would be a huge jump in responsibilities, pay and travel. I am not sure I want to do that all over again. Major major consulting company. They need someone to do full time what I currently do about 40% of the time. My current job is a little more varied, which I kind of like.

I probably won't move, but never hurts to have options. I told him that I was not actively looking, but one never knows.

Enjoy the courting process!!

I just hit 6 years at my company this year. Time flies. I remember my first 2 weeks being nervous about logging into BWW so Shameys had to e-mail me screen shots of the "Deer" thread that was going on.

Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

Congrats YWIW!!!!! I know you don't know if you'd even want it but still that's great!

Soooo at lunch today when an elderly gentleman at the booth next to us gets up and comes to our table to loudly tell me that He has a son and his life was saved by this acne medication (hands me slip of paper with it written on) and that I am too pretty of a girl to be going through this. I calmly say that it is inappropriate and to please leave when he gets even louder to apologize that he is just trying to help and that it really saved his sons life and I should not have to suffer, I'm too pretty. Then he finally does sit but then have to hear him try to justify it to his friend for 10 minutes.
