But ya are, Girly!
Mr. Mud wishes everyone a jolly good morning.
Morning peeps!
Tinky, that was really rude and insensitive of that guy. Sorry you had to go through that. What is wrong with people? I remember the first time I was in London I was eating at a Pub and this drunk American woman says to the waitress very loudly "I'm glad you decided to keep it" the waitress looks confused and very politely asked "I'm sorry ma'am, keep what?" Which the drunk responded "The baby". The poor waitress ran away with tears in her eyes. Another waitress told her she would take the table. Any moron would've realized the girl was over weight and not pregnant. Again, what is wrong with people?

Morning all!!
yeah, people suck. Before I got the Invisalign people used to come up to me all the time to let me know how great their dentist was, etc. If it was in private, it'd be one thing. But no matter what good intentions you may have, calling out someones possible insecurities in a public setting is never a right thing to do. Oh well. It made me feel crappy all day but I went home and had a good run.
So happy it's Thursday! And I'm not complaining about the nice warm weather but that being in conflict with the heat in my apartment caused a crappy night sleep.
Don't worry. You'll be fine tonight. Cold front moving in.

Supposed to be in the 30's tonight. So glad I have heat in the house now. Being I got forced hot air now I bought a humidifier for the bedroom. It really does help.
One of the fortunate things of the new apartment is I now have a knob on the one radiator in the living room that helps me regulate it. SO between that and the much better air current path, this winter should be a bit more moderate I hope. But I am still considering a humidifier. But first is this wine/hutch/bar thing I found. Which will compliment the wine throw pillows I got last night.... someone might start thinking I have a problem....

I highly recommend this humidifier. This is a great price too.

It's not the wine we're worried about, Tink. It's the cats.
Why do they bother having a teacher's convention? I don't think one teacher I know (and there are many) ever goes. One is seeing Cinderella today with her kids, another is down the chilly, wet beach, and my own Goddaughter is on some island with the kiddles, husband and their pilot friend and his wife. Make the damn thing mandatory, or don't have it and everybody go to school!!

Yes, I remember. I still think it should be mandatory. All I know, school was never closed for teacher in service days and all this other nonsense, when I was in school back in the dark ages.

I always figured that the Jersey "professional days" were sponsored by the tourism industry at the shore. When I was in elementary school all Maryland schools were closed on the second Thursday and Friday of October every year for a professional conference that all teachers - public, private and parochial - attended in Baltimore. Not sure when they ended that, but it was a nice break we kids counted on every year.
A bit a of a frosty morning out there today. I'd actually love a hard freeze one of these nights to kill off all the leaf mold.
