And this is for dessert.
Ah, perfection.
Thank you!
I always know where to turn when things get rough!
*hugs my peeps**
Day two down of the last four full days I have to spend with the kid. 33 days until I head back to Tennessee. 47 days until I get on that transatlantic flight. No drink for me tonight, but a Xanax would be lovely.
Are we even eating solids anymore?
Xanax washed down with a Baileys on the rocks sounds like a balanced diet to me.
Around here, yes it is!
Morning.
Good mornin', Peeps!
I'm in work. BOO!
It's payday! YAY!
Good Morning!
My office is closed today (although I had already taken it off as a Personal Day). But, I have work to do. I hope to get all the calls made this morning. Am heading to CT mid-day to welcome my parents home!
And attend Good Friday services.
And enjoy this glorious weekend!
Sending hugs and love to all.
ps - remind me to stay off the Main Board
(why do some things just set us off?...)
Lol, i saw that addy!
Mornin'
Morning kiddles!
My office is open, but I took the day off. I take off every Good Friday. Not sure why.
What am I missing on the main board?

there are definitely some good posts in there, but yeah some people are crazy.
Harris - be jealous, I got my Everyday Rapture tickets! I was 50/50 on wanting to see it, but for $10 I'd be stupid to pass it up.
Nice to know that anyone can do my job. And that I have job security and only work 9-5.
On that note, we actually close early today, but I usually offer to stay as the late cover because the whole "its not my holiday and I am not going to Church" thing. I will still leave by 4, which is an early Friday for me!
Happy Good Friday all.
my office is DEAD! Luckily my boss made some excuse so we are leaving early, lol. Don't know what time "early" will be but better than sitting here contemplating slitting my wrists until 5
*kicks Tink in the shin*
I felt like that yesterday Tink, and I was working from home! Couldn't stray too far away from the comp, in case someone IM'd me. Of course the only ones that did were my cellmates, and not any of the higher ups. And I think their only real reason was to make sure I was sitting at the comp and not off doing something fun! Very little important e-mails came through, but it was good, because I was able to finally finish updating this Expense Guide that hadn't been updated in almost two years.

Morning.
No need to bore with details - which aren't NEARLY as entertaining as one might think! - but I didn't get home until 5:30am, and then had to be up at 8 to get ready for a breakfast meeting.
It's impossible for me to believe that there was a time when I actually did that on a regular basis. All I feel right now is OLD

ouch, pinky. but yeah, oops, wrong metaphor.
man it is beautiful out today. the one thing i do love about working here is on nice days pretty much all of the office brings lunch back and we relax and chat by a bunch of picnic tables.

This is pink Indian Hawthorne, which is one of the flowering shrubs used quite a bit in our region. It's in full bloom right now (in hedges, boulevard medians and landscaped slopes,) giving our fair city its first wash of pink! It also has a light gardena aroma, which is mixing with the citrus trees already in full blossom - intoxicating!
Next comes the Jasmine for smell, and the Crepe Myrtles for even more pink

Q, that is a gorgeous display. Indian Hawthorn is such a useful bedding plant. I love Jasmine. We had a large trellis on which jasmine was trained. On a hot Summer night the perfume was almost overpowering. Don't you just love the bark of Crepe Myrtles? Their blossoms are beautiful, but their bark is fascinating.
We are in Autumn. Trees are beginning to turn, mornings are misty and crisp, the days mellow and in need of a picnic.
