Morning.
Hey, Tink, nice headline this morning:
"Roddick beats Berdych to win Sony Ericsson Open"
I watched most of his match yesterday but had to leave before the end! Very happy for him. I've started to forgive him for the whole getting married not to me thing.

Deet - you are too good to me! What are the rest of you having for breakfast?
Hey Kids!
Hope everyone had a great weekend! The girl is still enjoying the last day of her 4-day weekend. I'm starting to see some advantages to living in the UK.

Just got this in an email, and I had to giggle:
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Women are Angels.
And when someone
Breaks our wings,
We simply continue
To fly ... on a
Broomstick.
We are flexible like that.
I love that! I stole it for facebook.
Can a girl get a spinach bagel with veggie cream cheese?
Oh, what a beautiful mornin'...
That's good stuff, Q. I have to remember that.
Happy Monday to one and all.
I'm pretending I live in the UK and have today off.
Even though I'm in the office I'm going to make an effort not to care...
Spring fever. Big time.

Same here, Addy. I'm flying south to see Mom on Wednesday, so this is my....Thursday? Not very productive, so far!

Stunning, Q! We spent part of yestetrday at the local botanical gardens. A perfect setting for a beautiful afternoon - even if it did set off an evening of sneezing. It was worth every knleenex.
I think Q is on to something. Mama Moony should move to Florida. South Florida!

Brother Moony already lives in Florida (panhandle) and has barred Mother Moony from being in the state for more than 48 hours.

Well, Florida actually divides into 2 different states, just below Orlando, so that's no problem.

I completely understand Brother Mooney. I made the mistake of moving back into the same town where I grew up (where my parents live).
Oy.

Yes, I have to say that I'm dreading the trip to visit Mom. We do need to check in on her living situation, though and it's my turn.

I remember those trips, Moony. I don't miss them.

Thanks, Q. I'll need a half a bottle just to deal with the flights. I HATE flying. Just hate it.

In my 'remote youth', I used to love flying. As the years have gone by, I've enjoyed it less and less. Certainly the current conditions have made it almost unbearable.
But, once I'm up there, I can't help but enjoy the bird's-eye view. I just wish I could get that without having to deal with the whole plane thing. And the other people
I think it's the bird's-eye view that Moony enjoys least.

Bill Cosby used to ask why they had to fly so high - why couldn't they just go about 10 feet off the ground and follow the highways?

You aren't kidding, Shamey. When I'm up there, I count the minutes until I'm back on the ground.
