It's raining here, but off to work. *mwah* to all.
Ah Shira, our very own bi-coastal weather girl.
At Penn - some trains being cancelled. Big surprise. Not ours, yet. Debating what to do, although truthfully I'm all for cutting our losses now and going home.

I already did, Q. J2 is cancelling the train tickets even as I type this.

We're staying in New York, obviously, and taking advantage of mass cancellations here by snagging two fabulous seats to this afternoon's performance of A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC.

Perfect.
On a related note, the TinMan has his first read-through today for that show.
Frederick?

Yes. He's a bit 'past it', as they say, but it's only with our local group, so he'll be fine. It's always been a dream role for him - plus, he gets to play with some of his oldest friends (who are pretty much our closest social group.)
As for me, I get some more time alone at home
I played almost every role I wanted to when I was in my teens and 20s, and Henrik was by far my most favorite. The show is magical, and I hope the Tin Man has as much fun doing it as I did.

It should be a good ride - although, he did just find out last night that his Desiree isn't available to do the show, which I hope isn't an omen!
If worse comes to worse, I'll do it.
Don't laugh too much - I might surprise you
It would bring a whole new dimension to "You Must Meet My Wife," that's for sure.

Wow, how did I sleep until 10.
And Q, I might like to see that.

I might consider a private showing.
But my fees are high
It has been POURING here - not like SoCal rain at all!
Its calmed down here for now. It was pouring last night when I came home from work. Lots of street flooding. I would hate to be in a Miata or something else that low to the ground!
Zander is surfing on the rocking chair again, but Zorra is sleeping next to me, snuggling my knee, so all is good out here!
Intermission. BLISS! Absolute BLISS!

I'm very happy that your disapointment turned into joy, Deet! The Weather Gods knew what they were doing!
The roast is in the oven, and it smells wonderful in here!

Just back from the drug store and Pavilions. A pre-superbowl zoo!
The rain has stopped for the moment.

It's stopped here, too - but we've not seen the last of it, supposedly.
The mountain is sliding down in some areas
Deets joy was SOMMSY'S disappointmet. No dinner at 10 Arts at the Ritz Carlton with Top Chef's Jen and no world premiere of Terrance McNally's new play. And, no D2/J2. Stinking snow.
