Posted: 2/6/10 at 8:25pmI really am sorry! I lived with huge snow for many years (living at about 9500 feet in the Rockies will do that!) and I couldn't do it again if I had to.

Aww, I feel bad for SOMMSy.
Well, I've been hired as a personal chef and have LOTS of cooking to do.

Top?
I would have guessed versatile.
Well, actually, I would have guessed 'will do whatever to win the prize'.

This winter is so strange! We live in Chicago and have no real snow all winter and my mother in law is buried in DC!
Busy day here with two basketball losses!
More games ahead!
Happy Super Bowl - Go Saints!!!!!!

Is D2 anxious to 'carve the roast beast'?
Not that I'm comparing D2 to the Grinch.
I would never.

They're about 45 minutes south of Indianapolis.
It was delish, Deet! It will be dinner for several days.

You're inspiring me, Girly. I might make reservations for a steak house tomorrow night.

BWG, we drive by there down I65. Is that Amish area? Nice B&Bs.

Or J2 could just cook up a couple at home.
Not that I'm aware of brd. I've never been, and they've never mentioned Amish in the area.

He could, Girly, but we're going to see FANNY at Encores tomorrow night. He never cooks on a theater-going night.

Ah. I was thinking he probably would make a mean steak.
I thought about going to see that. That's as far as I got. I want to see Hair again before they all take off across the pond. I really should look into that this week. I have to check the dates that Gavin's out first.

We made a last-minute decision to see it and went to the box-office after the show this afternoon and were able to get two 8th row center orchestra seats. I don't know this show at all, so I'm looking forward to it.
J2 doesn't actually like steak, but he does make a fabulous Beef Tenderloin. And despite my (justifiably) much-maligned cooking skills, I actually can make a pretty good London Broil. Sometimes without even setting off the smoke alarm!
