My company party has been rescheduled. boo. to the day I am seeing Jersey Boys with my mom. It is going to be one hell of a busy day for me. I'll have just enough time to get back, change, and maybe be an hour late. no getting hair done now though.

This is one of the screwiest snows ever. One minute it's white-out snowing, then 10 minutes later it's snowing with the sun out. Boob's and I were laughing. It would be dark and snowy by him, and sunny/snowy by me, then a little bit later he'd have the sunny snow and I'd have the dark snow, and kept switching back and forth.

Um, Addy, care to share? Do we need to get the bail money ready?

I went to the grocery store when I was starving and craving all sorts of 'comfort food'! I know better than to do that!

Shira, are they saying your dad is still competent to manage his affairs?

You could try to get a conservatorship, but if it is contested, it gets expensive and takes time. And that would mean you would have to stick around to manage it ... that is something you definitely do not want to do.

Y, I handled a guardianship only once! Followed the process and the Court granted the petition. The Judge's court reporter used short hand, probably the last in Cook County!
