Love it! Welcome home.

Go us!

But they should quit. If you think I'm talking to you, I AM!!!
Hello 26!!!
Yay! I get to be on page 1.
RE: Spring Awakening
I absolutely think parents should take their tween/teen kids to see it. That is precisely the point of the play: we have this huge hang-up on sex, which leads to embarrassment and misconceptions about it, which in turn leads to irresponsible practices that in turn lead to unwanted pregnancies and diseases. Note that I qualified my original comment with pre-show and post-show discussion.

Everyone in the beanbag!
That is a good point, but I still couldn't watch Sex and the City with my father when I was 26. It's just different with daughters and dads, DD.
Hopefully, brd and Mrs. brd have already had the sex conversation with the the eldest daughter or are planning on it very soon.

And Shamey and I stand by our statement. For daughters it's different, DD - very different. It would probably be best if Brd & Mrs. Brd saw it first, then decided what their daughters would be comfortable with.
Runs in says cheers. Timing is everything.

Mooney, I definately could not sit through I Believe with C15 - she is a prude. Last night she moaned when I kissed Mrs. Brd in the kitchen! C13, on the other hand, flaunts her developed tush.
Hey Kansas!
Yes, it also depends on the individual.
Hey, y'all!
shamey, I see you're back to your "toddlers in disguise" theme.

Oh yes, despite C15 attititude, I am not afraid to have direct and blunt conversations. Jamie Lynn Spears and Bristol Palin have actually made it very easy to bring up those conversations. I also do not care if C10 is in the room - he needs to hear it also.
What did you do to that champagne????
And, yes, I am.
Stagey!

See, start the party and they all come home. Now we need an Addy and Cookie sighting.
Just caught up on the last hour or so.
yay new thread, but i'm a little hurt it is not about me!
And 15k? to see him teach me in the nude? unless he's teaching me some things in the bedroom after, I don't think so. For 15k I could fix my teeth and get boob implants and have him just get him in the bedroom on my own accord. But, the thought of him teaching me in the nude has put a nice smile on my face!
Dammit! I must've picked champagne bubble bath by mistake.
Deet!
You all just make my point even stronger - it's about breaking that barrier. It's gotta start somewhere.
Boob implants? Why on Earth ...
Yeah, I have no problem with the nude part, but the tennis lesson is kind of gross if you really think about it.
What was that episode of Seinfeld about coughing while naked? I think the same concept applies here.
Kansas!!! How are you good Sir?
Ugh ... off to a meeting.
Oooh, nudity discussions, what did I miss?
On another group I'm a part of, I asked a simple question: "Why are some kids not encouraged to attend college".
NOT "Why aren't they" or whatever. There are millions of things that get in the way of college attendance, I GET That. But why it's not encouraged at the least is beyond me. I'm not saying anyone HAS to go or it makes people better or worse or whatever, but when it's not even considered as an option for some people, it infuriates me.

"Now we need an Addy and Cookie sighting."
And Pip.
I would love a Pip sighting - just to know he's ok.
I'll bring cookies. But not Cookie.
