Working away and hoping that the 100,000 people supposed to show up for the demonstrations a block from my office decide to stay home.

I asked a cop if he could wear a mask today, and his response "This isn't Mexico - we have been prohibited from wearing masks."

He was not pleased.

I have no idea what the evening has in store. It's a screening of one of the TinMan's short films, and then a gathering afterwards.

Meh - I just hope I can get out of here OK at the end of the day. the demonstration in our area is supposed to go from 1-6.

And Q, I think you will be fine. The areas targeted are Downtown and Echo Park areas.

Shira - I've seen her many times, but not the Vegas show. I'm taking a friend who has never seen her - which is actually kind of shocking because she's seen pretty much EVERYONE else over the years.

One of my best friends lives in Vegas, and I keep saying I am going to go out there to see Bette. I have seen her a few times, but she always puts on a good show.

YWIW is right, I'm still recovering from that one. It'll be a bit for full recovery from that. The next surgery is scheduled for mid-June.

I had a surprisingly good evening at my Dad's Shabbat service. And now I'm finally eating dinner - leftover Persian food. YUM!
