God, it's hot out there, And the humidity level is right up there, too. I'm thankful to be working in an air-conditioned office, but I always worry about those who don't.

awwww, thanks all. Definitely not a great way to start the morning but it is what it is.
It got even better when my brother called with his every other month epiphany about getting clean and sober. he has this way of duping my family everytime and getting their hopes up, and then everyone gangs up on me of why I am not being more supportive. Boy who cried wolf theory I tell them, but I am still the bad person.

Make a snack and a cocktail and sit in your family room snuggling with your puppies and watch whatever makes you happy. Make a date with yourself once a week to do this.

Had a nice evening last night - two friends took me out to dinner for my birthday. Since niether works at my school I was able to dump my tale of woe on them. I'm paying for the late night (and sangria) this morning, tgough. Ugh.

Nothing makes a night calm and quiet like putting on a new mattress and schlepping a queen size mattress down a flight of stairs.
But, Zander has a new mountain to play on/hide under until I figure out what to do with the old bed. Any suggestions?
