I used to do that with books years ago. Then I found myself not going back and finishing the book, so I put an end to that. No matter how much I'm dying to go to the last chapter and read it, I won't. So, I'm a former member of your elite group.

The only thing I don't like is walking into a movie or show when it's already started. I don't really care about seeing previews or hearing things about something I am going to see. I mean after all it's just a movie...I can't see making yourself crazy over that. Enough things make me crazy in my everyday life
I made myself more crazy from not going on line!

Girly...that's will power.
I just got the new book in the Game of Thrones series.
I must admit I did read ahead a couple of times in the earlier books to see if a character was really dead! But usually, I save the end for last.
This weekend (hopefully). Harry Potter DVD Friday Night. Try to see 9AM showing on Saturday. Start Reading "A Dance with Dragons" sometime on Saturday. Women's Soccer on Sunday and a couple of workouts in between. A little homework here or there, but nothing too radical.
Hello.
*waves to Deet* You should have something in the post from me shortly.
Thanks. I've heard from Girly, YWiW and SoMMS so far.
Have you ever been so depressed that it takes monumental effort just to stare at the ceiling fan?
Hopefully you'll have mine by tomorrow, if not today.
I've had those days of bad depression. If I buy something for myself it seems to clear up quickly.
Yeah, tried that. Didn't work. I tried all the stuff that's supposed to work: working out, shopping, favorite movie, long conversation with my sister, walk in the park - I was nearly comatose w/sadness by 2:00 yesterday afternoon and I just couldn't shake it. I'm feeling better today, but yesterday was just pure blah...
I have to say the new shoes are cute, though. I like 'em better today than I did yesterday.
How many times can I get the word yesterday into one post?
And in my defense, re: the new shoes: As I was walking out of the gym yesterday morning, the entire bottom of my right sandal just fell off. What else was I supposed to do? Stand there and cry like a baby? I mean, continue to cry like a baby?
Never make excuses for your purchases. If it makes you happy or you need it, just buy it and smile.
D2 - when that hits, one thing that really helps me is taking really deep breaths and thinking about something positive - almost like meditating, trying to get my mind on a reset.
That, or a nice big old glass of Gin.
*gasp* *clutches pearls* reading ends of book first???? I think I have to sit down!
:)
Hi, peeps!
Guess where I am. Give up? I'm in Disney World. It is a celebration for my Mother's birthday. Yes, it's hot. Yes, there is half of Brazil here. But, do we care? No! Because we're in Disney World!

Hi, Hep
Have a great time at 'the happiest place on earth'!
HEP!!! I was just thinking about you the other night, wondering how you are!
And I'm in Berlin.
Deets, we're only about 400 miles apart! Of course, a big chunk of that would be the Baltic Sea, but STILL!
I was thinking about that as I was watching the live map on the screen as we were landing - Sweden was only about 3 inches away!
And we're in the same time zone.
I am going to go outside and yell HELLO really loudly. I am sure you will hear me.
Sorry -- fell asleep for a few hours, didn't hear a thing.
It's warm and overcast here, with a slight, intermittent drizzle, but we woke up around 3:00 and went for a walk - we can now check The Brandenburg Gate and Checkpoint Charlie off our lists of things to see. The city is busy, but not nearly as overwhelmed with tourists as London was last month.
J2 has a "Welcome Reception and Registration" for his conference tonight. I'll probably go to the bar, have a cocktail or 12, go back to the room, order room service and crash by 9:00.
Good morning everyone. I pulled something from all my walking at Brimfield and spent a good part of yesterday laying around and icing my thigh.
Tink, we are both from the same school -- I would NEVER, EVER, NEVER, EVER skip to the last page of the book. But, then again, I read so fast that it usually doesn't take very long to get there.
We've been reorg'ed and my Division has a new name. Yay, we get to throw away and reorder stationary and business cards ... AGAIN!
Oh, and GASP!!, I have never seen a Harry Potter movie or read a single book.

Morning peeps! It was a lovely weekend, but went too fast! I met up with friends in the City for a nice Mexican dinner on Saturday night in the village. The place was on 7th Ave. near Charles St. called Agave. Very good food and reasonable. I had what they called a Sante Fe Sheperds Pie which was really mac & cheese with pork and beef and Mexican flavors. Very rich. Only ate about 1/2 of it
Yesterday was a visit up North to see my sons and then home by late afternoon and veg on the couch with the puppies...they seemed very happy to spend some down time with their daddy.
How was everyone else's weekend? I hope you leg is better, Poddie.

I made up for your lack of HP tickets, SOMMS. We went Saturday night, then turned around and went back last night, too. It's that good and that involved. It's quite a capitivating tale.
Also saw two summer stock productions so my weekend was spent in theaters of one sort or another. Got nothing done at home though. I really have to remind myself that we're leaving on vacation Friday morning and there's tasks to take care of before that can happen.
Good morning - who's got donuts?
I got Bagels!
