I was so heartbroken not to have been able to see you while you were on the East Coast... things were just a little rough while you were here.
Sounds like you had an incredible trip! I remember the last time we were able to be together - at lunch - discussing your work and a book recommendation. Always love when I can see you.

SOMMSY, it's this damn weather. I just want to sleep. Too much to do though....of course work gets in the way too. Hopefully this weekend I will get most of the things I need to get done...done!

Ditto on the air conditioner on... off... on... off.
Hate the humidity. I want to wear my pretty Fall jackets. I can't wait for clear, crisp Autumn weather.

Today is my niece's 20th birthday!
I cannot believe she is 20! She was JUST BORN!
But, today I celebrate the beautiful, smart, fun, charming, talented, kind young woman she has become. I'm so proud of her!

I remember about 18 threads ago we put together an Adult Smoking Thread music list... I actually started to put together the playlist in iTunes, but never finished. I'm sure the thread is lost to the ages (as so many of the early-ish Adult threads are), but I remember it was one helluva song list! Songs from 'our era' (the era that started this thread!) as well as others that came to mean something to us.
