I am not that familiar with Miss O'hara - however - I am seeing Pajama Game - so it's a start! I think Kiera is lovely - but she gets cast in these "vixon" roles that I find rather amusing. We shall see. Cameron Macintosh is producing, and he seems to have a pretty good eye for talent, so maybe it will work.

Tag - cheeze your're it.
cheeze, I think you're going to adore her in Pajama Game! I wish you could have seen her in Piazza...

I'm enthralled with Ms. O'Hara, as well. Her one-two punch of PIAZZA and PAJAMA GAME back-to-back is pretty stunning. Totally different presentations - and both were stellar! In fact, I loved the whole PAJAMA GAME experience. I was afraid I'd have NO objectivity with Mr. Connick, but I truly thought he was wonderful - exactly what was needed for the role. The whole presentation was top-notch - super-talented cast, great direction, great choreography - and they looked like they were having as much fun as we were!
And I have to say at least once - I would have Harry's babies - OMFG!
So there's one opinion of a show from last week

Good morning old farts. DG, your spirits seem lifted this morning. When my wife dropped me off at the train she asked me to get out of my bad mood.
and that's a good opinion, DG!

DG - TAG - you are it!
And I want to see you birthin' Harry's babies. This godfather is all set for that action! lol.
...that would be something to see!
I don't really need *those* visuals flooding my head this early in the morning.
*sigh* Too late.

I swear, I was in danger of causing serious embarrassment to myself and others every time he was on stage. And then he'd start to sing, and . . . well . . . oh, I'll preserve the sanctity of our retreat and NOT go into detail.
Imagine sitting next to the delicious Cookie and watching Mr. Connick on stage... swoon city!
I can't imagine, Addy.

Do I understand that Addy and DG did not see each other in NY?

Addy - my seat-neighbor made me swoon, too
And brd - I do feel a little better. Our 'son', who has been here in SoCal the whole time we were in NYC spent the evening with us last night - and that has brightened the mood considerably!

I hope this is a trend and will keep Mr. Connick on Broadway for a long time to come. Maybe something with Mr. Jackman as well - imagine the two of them together...and No, I don't mean La Cage.

Addy, are you recovering from your time away from the office?

DG..you forgot to tell everyone how you almost missed the beginning of Act2 of PJG because you couldn't stop talking about Mr.Jr. during intermission.
brd, I was able to see DG when he was in NY, at the gathering on Sunday.
I'm just greedy and wanted to see him again and again, but between my schedule and his it didn't work out. My loss... but, I know there will be other visits.
And, yes, today is a day just for me.

Boobs - If I recall correctly, I wasn't talking to myself
Sounds like a nice day, Addy.
It is, DD.
...and tomorrow I'm going to spend the day with my family, so that's a happy day, as well.

DG - Who was your seat neighbor? Swoon huh?
Can I just mention that our God daughter seems to have an issue with "shlepping" to Coney Island...what are we to do?!
