No one is around. Things need to be signed, e-mails need to be responded to, and everybody and their brother are out. You'd think this was the holiday weekend. Maybe it's a holiday I wasn't informed of? There are a total of 10 people in an area that sits about 75ish.

That is NO fun, Girly. I have just one other person in my office (the boss) and he's on the road 3-4 days a week. Timing things to get signed/approved/processed can be tricky. I forward e-mails to his laptop...and reminders to his lap top...and leave VMs...

It's awful to get backed up--and when folks are waiting it's hard to keep apologizing for a lack of response...

Also, I get frustrated dealing with a field staff who have a very fogging understanding about deadlines, paperwork, and how long it takes for mail to get from them to me.

Girly, I think we should agree that it IS a holiday and you just take the rest of the day off. A BWW Holiday!

I'm sure brdlwyr can draft something that appears official.

I'm in limbo today until the boss arrives...which should be between now and ???

On the upside, on the thread about Prince Albert's latest acknowledgement of an illegitimate heir, I've volunteered to marry him so he doesn't have to cat around anymore. I'm sure I could keep him busy enough around the castle.

My nearcomplete lack of...4 letter word...here in the cubicle has let me totally catch up on these boards. But this is my very first OT board post (not that I really post ever on the Broadway board anyway...)

There are only so many cubicle hours an intern can kill making PushPin art and Post-It paper chains...
