Well... it's for a 'lawn' concert, general seating. Not sure how flexible they would be about that.

Not really... you buy the tickets at a grocery store. I vaguely remember putting them (the tix and receipt) somewhere so I wouldn't forget where I put them.

I feel quite stupid.

And I'm supposed to be taking this guy I'm totally into. Shawn Colvin is our favorite singer.

I won't tell him until I have gone through every single paper in my house.

OK... so this guy in our league had a fire in his apt. and lost everything, including his dog. The whole league has come together, and as a team, we're giving him gift certificates for various places. Anyway... I'm making a card for us to sign, with our logo on the front. I'm terrible writing... what would be something appropriate to put in the inside? People will write personal messages or just sign... I just need to come up with some kind of general thought for the inside. Any ideas?

oh, how horrible, DD!

It might be nice to have room for people to write their own messages, But, a general message letting him know that you are sorry for his loss might be appropriate.

The only song that comes to mind is "Help is on the Way", but I can't think of a way to put it in the right context.

I really get stumped when trying to come up with copy... I never know what to write on cards.

I was gonna say, chocolate and champagne help too...

I once said a prayer to St. Anthony, asking him to help me find my glasses. This was before I had realized I flushed them down a toilet, after having gotten REALLY sick from too much drinking...
