Posted: 5/20/06 at 7:51pmHey all - Haven't been around much lately. I've sort of been in a funky mood. I think I'm just ready for summer vacation. Three more weeks and I will be free - sort of anyway. Went to a dance recital today and watched the grandkids. Have to go to another one tomorrow. They are fun though. Did not help my mood when watching the Preakness, Barbero somehow severly injured his leg. I have always loved watching the horse races but it breaks my heart when they are injured. I hope they can save him! I'm sorry to hear about Pip and Glitz, glad DD found his tickets, and generally glad that everyone else is doing okay. Atleast it wasn't raining here in Michigan today and the weekend is only half over so yeh for happy thoughts.

Glad things are getting better for Pip and Glitz...and that DD found the tickets.
I'm in a funk too, Bwyaddict. Especially since my too-tight budget prevented me from coming back to NYC to see the final show of "Barefoot." Some folks from the group I went with in April are seeing all four shows this weekend...and are e-mailing us about encounters with Mister Wilson. I know there are bigger problems in this world than mine...but I'm feeling a bit blue that I couldn't go have another wonderful trip and get a hug myself!
So...there's MY pity-party on a Saturday night.
Undi is going tomorrow. Perhaps she'll collect a hug for me?

Don't ever underestimate the power of St. Ant-knee..as us Jersey folks like to call him. 
So glad to hear from Pip. It is funny how a message board has brought many of us together and that we found friendships in some...especially on this thread.
I was honored tonight to watch the incredible man who started this thread on stage again. He was amazing as usual..just when you think he can't get any better...he does !!! BRAVO Robbiej, BRAVO !!!!!
It was good to see other friends from here there too....I love those "real" hugs.
Addict, I hope you get that vacation soon. I loved that picture you posted for Pip & Glitz of Crystal Lake. I've been to Dewey Lake a couple of times in Michigan and just loved it there...I'm sad that my friend sold his house there this past winter, so I won't be going up anytime soon.

Just finished watching Remember the Titans. Great movie.
Beacon - Money and budget issues can definitely cause a funk. I would love to be back in NY myself but have to pay some bills first.
Boobs - Yes, as I was trying to think of something to send to Pip, I thought to myself what makes me happy and Crystal Lake sunsets came to mind so that picture was perfect. Where is Dewey Lake? I am going up to Crystal Lake with some of the family the 3rd week in July.

Heh. He asked me when I was going to sleep over to try the mattress. You should've heard him describe the unveiling and initial set-up of this mattress. It sounded similar to what a male experiences when they're, um, excited.
