My friends are moving to Ohio and I just found out it's not in September, but July 5th. They are taking my godson (their right, I suppose, as they are his parents) - I haven't seen them in a couple of months because of everything that's been going on with me, plus I've probably been disconnecting a bit.

Now I'm sitting at work and trying really hard not to cry.

Yeah, just one more time seeing them now. I feel like an ass for not spending more time up there lately, but it's been impossible.

Yes, my friend and her husband both grew up there, but met here. They want the kids to grow up with grandparents and big families like they did - they decided this about a year ago, so I've been dealing with it, but like I said, I have definitely been disconnecting over the past few months. It's just too awful to think of my kids being so far away for the rest of their childhoods.
