Have I just completely lost my mind? I just saw on CNN that we are evacuating our citizens from the mid-east, but before they are allowed onto the boats etc. they are having to sign deeds saying they will REPAY the govt. for the evacuation expense? Someone please tell me that I mis-understood this!

There have already been instances of discharged military members having to seek relief in the court system because of the military's greed. Civilians are screwed - unless they're big donors, of course.

Sickeningly, this doesn't surprise me at all.
