he he... same here.

I was just talking to a friend, and we realized that it is cheaper to go to Costa Rica for a week than to Puerto Vallarta. Even the airfare is about $70 cheaper from here to CR than to PV. Go figure!

Boobs asked me to update everyone.

He got to the airport about 6:30. For an 11:00 flight. Wasn't taking any chances, I guess. The check-in people weren't even expected until 7:30 or so.

When he called back, he was a bit depressed cause he found out there is definitely no internet on this plane. He also found out that the flight is booked solid, so there goes his chance to "spread" out a bit. He's thankful he got an aisle seat. He was eyeing some things in the duty free shop, was planning on grabbing a bite to eat, and look into internet at the airport, since the plane isn't boarding until 10:30ish. I think that's everything.

19 hours without a cigarette - they might as well just throw me in a cage in the luggage compartment and be done with it.

When I was in the hospital, a bunch of people had these plastic looking cigarette things which gave them a needed nicotine fix...maybe those would work for you, DG?

The one and only time I've been in the hospital (other than birth) was when I had viral bronchitis in the military. Because I was single and lived alone, they wouldn't let me miss work unless I was hospitalized. SO, I would shuffle outside in my backless gown and smoke - hacking up a lung the entire time.

In other words, I don't think anything would work.

Hence, the cage and removal from humanity. Otherwise, the only news you'ld hear about the flight is an emergency landing and arrest at the airport - possibly inciting an international incident.

At least if they landed in France, the French would understand my situation.

Hi yall...

Checking my calendar for optimum NYC theater time. I'm thinking the first weekend in November may be it. I can catch Donny in B&TB near the end of his run, Aaron in Les Miz, hopefully Sutton in Drowsy...and one other show.

Unless Mister Wilson is doing something spectacular that needs a couple of viewings. So, NYC pals...will folks be around NYC in early Nov? I need more chat/face time with folks. I'd fly in Friday and out on Monday so we could do a Sunday night thing? And lunches, and spontaneous stuff. :o)

We will! But this coming year, with the TinMan's schedule free, we will probably come a couple of weeks later (maybe mid-to-late May,) and stay for two weeks instead of one

I was VERY disappointed this year to miss all the plays! We were just a little too early - everyone was going into previews or opening right after we left
