Boobs is in Singapore?! Wow! How is it? How was your flight? Are you doing any sidetrips while you're out there? I'm planning my big Asia spree for next summer (going there directly after Europe to celebrate my dad's 50th birthday) and Singapore is on the list of places to hit!

Hi ya Tiffy !!! Singapore is very nice..very clean..people are extremely friendly..most speak English which is very helpful.
We are going on a side trip to an island called Bintan on Tuesday (off of Indonesia)....about a 50 minute fery ride from Singapore..I'm really looking forward to it. We're staying in a villa there until Thursday. It'll be nice to just relax and hang out..here there are many friends and so there's always something planned.

Geez - I don't think you have to throw away the microwave! Just disenfect it with bleach. He must have had his mind on other things and forgot about the meat in the microwave. You know what I mean?

Yes addict I think that was it. I told him that he doesn't have to throw it out...we can get white vigegar too and let it clean it and get the odor out. He already cleaned it with bleach. He's just funny about these things especially after seeing some show that they talked about a body that decayed in a car and the car had to be destroyed.

Hee hee. Well now we're off for some exploring and shopping..what else makes me happier than shopping? I wish you could all see what my friend made me..a cashmere and silk throw...of course with Asian silk and pattern...absolutely gorgeous. Some people just have a great talent and Yvonne has it. This is a gift I will cherish always. I will try and take a picture of it later and post it. Nothing nicer than a homemade gift.

Just arrived home from Chicago. Sad to leave the fun of the city but glad to be home. My dogs were glad to see me. Also we were driving my daughter's car with a DVD player so finally watched March of the Penguins and Phantom of the Opera. Made the trip go faster.

Thanks Girly. I seem to be numb - not feeling anything. I think I can predict what's going to happen - on Saturday when I see the b/f to say goodbye to her before her 3 month out-of-town job, it's all going to explode and she's going to be stuck with the sobbing mess.

Oh well. Won't be the first time.

I'm sure she'll understand. B/F's always do. That three months will go by in a flash, and before you know it, she'll be back!!

Harris, I think they're cute. Not afraid in the least. I'm just eh about watching the film.

I really hate when she's out of town for long periods of time. It's like having my security blanket ripped away. It's not that I have to see her all the time - it's knowing that I can if I need to.

I understand Girly. I have been avoiding watching the Penquin movie because I can't stand to watch animals getting hurt. I just had to keep telling myself it's just nature. It was good though.

It's not the same, I know, but at least she's only a phone call away. That's something, at least.

How are the job prospects going? Or is that another sore subject?

Well, at least she finally sucked it up and bought a laptop. Last time she was working out of town she wanted to call me during the day all the time, and I was working, and she was working at night, so it was pretty ridiculous. It will be easier now that we can email - timing won't matter.

I'm doing a temp job through October. But NO INTERNET ACCESS!! So I'm looking in the meantime anyway. Plus I want to find a permanent job.
