That's a lovely way to spend an anniversary. Well done, Tink.
Deviled eggs are done. Might bejust a tad too hot. Guess I'll see how well they go over tomorrow.

Well done, Chris
Tink - I love that he really tried to give you what YOU would want. Maybe you should keep him
We did MUCH better with a movie choice for this evening! In honor of the day, we watched DAVE. Not only does it really give a good chuckle, but it actually makes you feel like, with the right people involved, our government actually COULD dig themselves out of the mess they've created.
And besides, I've always thought Mr. Kline was sexy

HA! I love it, Hep!
And, I have to admit it - I love, love, LOVE Frank Langella.

I see I'm not the only one who likes DAVE
"We're walking, we're walking - we're stopping."
We usually like to watch it as a double-feature with THE AMERICAN PRESIDENT - but we leant our copy out, so we couldn't do that this evening
Home from the family Extravaganza.
Damn, that was a wicked workout of a party.
Don't people know that I have not lived there for over 18 years?

The big question is, though, are you ALONE in your home?!?
I hope so - you deserve it!
Nope, but one more night then I can stop behaving nicely, and return to behaving normally!
And Tink, Congrats, take a picture of the ring, I wanna see.
Off to bed for me now. Monday looks good!

It just brings a tear to my eye to read Shira's comments on MOVIES she loves!
LOL, DG.
I wish I'd chosen this week to go to California. Would have made the trip better, but I'm still eager to come in August.

You don't want to show up now, honey, the state's on fire! Honestly, we were already getting residual smoke from the north - where it all seems to be burning - but with the big one out past Santa Barbara, our air is THICK! Not as bad as up north, where everyone is talking about pumice and ash covering everything, but it's not all that pleasant
True. But the mix of people will be wonderful this weekend.
I watched "Peggy Sue Got Married" this evening. I really liked it.

Haha! Peggy's conversation with her mother on the stairs about saying 'penis' just KILLS me! And I'm one of the few that actually LIKED Cage's performance. In fact, it's one of the few of his that I really like!
And, the mix of people come Monday should be FABULOUS! You realize this is the 'closing of the circle' as far as the FGF are concerned, don't you?
Be afraid - be very afraid

You know, 'cockiness' isn't all that great a virtue. Although, it's an interesting adjective to apply in your situation.
Keep smiling, sweetie - it's actually US that know what's going on!
I didn't intend for it to be cocky, just truthful. I know you boys will dish, and not all of it will be complimentary - such is life!
You just know everything, don't you? I love that!

Of COURSE we know everything, Darling - that's why we're FGF! And why you are . . . well, YOU!
And keep up - the 'cocky' reference was a tongue-in-cheek reference concerning you - since you are so OBVIOUSLY female
The adults are not sleeping, tonight.
This adult just in from a wonderful day ... two fun picnics, great food, better company, and night-cap at the neighborhood pub.
Now that's a day.
