Please someone kill me now - I give me a very big tranquilizer...
DGG, I'm so sorry you won't get to see him. FWIW, Curtis is amazing in the role, too.
Our fingerprints don't fade from the lives we touch.
Puppies are babies in fur coats.
Tinfoil...The Terrorizing Terminator
D2, I know that Cheyenne's thighs are distracting, but there were other things going on in that show besides "them"!
YWIW, maybe this will help!
Wow. I needed sleep. Turned off my alarms and just woke up. I'm happy that I slept, sad that I missed my window to go biking. Though is cold and windy, so maybe it's a good thing.
Bored. This place (work) is dead.
Thanks Miss P. I have deposited them at the pool. I was mistaken, as I thought there were showers there, and apparently I committed some mortal sin...
I have an hour to myself, and then they will be back.
Now we all understand why I have lived alone for so many years...
My siblings are completely self-absorbed and yet they completely lack self-awareness. George Carlin would have a field day!
Are we related?
Seriously, it sounds like the three of us belong in the same family. If my family wasn't Palestinian, I'd think we were related. (That whole side of the family is craaaaazy!)
Too many control freaks in my family ...
I used to think that "If the other 3 are like that, I must be, too" until both my parents, my uncle, my husband and others comforted me by explaining that I was the only one who wasn't like that. (I do have other flaws though, trust me!)
OK - they are gone, and I have a few minutes to relax before I go to my mom's.
Jesus Christ - the older one is pissy because she has some reaction to lotion and now is splotchy - and the younger one brought her entire frigging house with her to swim and change. She literally had three bags with her.
I wish I could follow Zorra's lead and just hide!
I have not had alcohol in over a month, but tonight will be a good day to "deviate" from my eating program.

For the ladies:
"One morning, the husband returns the boat to their lakeside cottage after several hours of fishing and decides to take a nap. Although not familiar with the lake, the wife decides to take the boat out.
She motors out a short distance, anchors, puts her feet up, and begins to read her book. The peace and solitude are magnificent. Along comes a Fish and Game Warden in his boat. He pulls up alongside the woman and says, 'Good morning, Ma'am. What are you doing?'
'Reading a book,' she replies, (thinking, 'Isn't that obvious?').
'You're in a Restricted Fishing Area,' he informs her.
'I'm sorry, officer, but I'm not fishing. I'm reading.'
'Yes, but I see you have all the equipment. For all I know you could start at any moment. I'll have to take you in and write you up.'
'If you do that, I'll have to charge you with sexual assault,' says the woman.
'But I haven't even touched you,' says the Game Warden.
'That's true, but you have all the equipment. For all I know you could start at any moment.'
'Have a nice day ma'am,' and he left.
MORAL: Never argue with a woman who reads. It's likely she can also think.
That joke is fantastic, DG.
38 Days, Shira.
Is Shira already counting down the days to when I leave New York & she has her apartment and herself back to normal? If not, that 38 day estimate is pretty accurate.
Nope. She's counting down the days until she leaves for LA.
Ah, because a visit with her family is exactly what she wants!
(Sorry if I seem paranoid. I have a feeling that by the time I leave NYC, she'll be glad to see me go. I just hope not in that "I want to kill that bitch!" way!)

I'll find out for you tomorrow, Cheffy!
BAH! So excited!
Sounds good, DGG. I can always use a few extra ears, since I'm the ears and eyes for the FGFs that want to know exactly what Shira is doing at any particular moment.
Bah to the rain. Not that I had any intentions on going anywhere tonight, especially not after work. But still!

Hmmm. Not raining here...yet!
I'm off to bed. Night!
See ya'll in NYC!!!
Good night and have a good early morning, DGG.
Hope everyone had a great 4th. Ours turned out to be great. Took dogs for a walk at a nice park, stopped at the store for a few groceries, cooked a great dinner and now just relaxing. The only problem is I now feel fat because I just ate some yummy homemade cherry raspberry pie and ice cream. I cannot resist good pie!
Had a lovely day. We went out and bought a grill. Then to celebrate our anniversary, Chris took me into NYC to a lovely restaurant in the village and the to see Cirque Dreams: Jungle Fantasy. Not exactly top show on my list to see, but it was entertaining and the amazing athleticism of the performers still blows me away! Oh, and I got a beautiful sapphire and diamond ring. Someone must love me, lol.
