Somebody shoot me...Or give me a shot! Halfway through the workday and I'm so ready to close up shop. It's depressingly dead here.

Dear, God.
THANK YOU, Girly!
That is just too pretty for words.
His eyes, among other things, are gorgeous.
Wow. I'm the one that's gotta keep up. Or work on my reading comprehension!!
Trying out my friend's laptop to see if I want to get one like it. Not sure, though.

Ahh - lovely day Adults.
Hi YWIW. Glad to see you survived the 4th!
The deviled eggs were a smashing success. It was said "they're the best you've ever made". Seemed everyone liked them a bit hotter than usual. None were left. There was only a little mac salad left.
DG, here's the little interview that went along with the pic:

Oh, pish-posh, Shira. Having the priveledge of watching you start as the unsure teenager, then blossom into the wonderful woman you are now, is one of the greatest joys I've ever had.
And you know damn-good-and-well that I wouldn't have even looked twice if I hadn't seen pure gold from the start
DG, Thank you, darling. *hugs* and *kisses*
For some reason, "Sunrise, Sunset" is now running through my head.
And Girly, I am glad the deviled eggs were a hit.
How sweet, YWIW.
Damn, now I want deviled eggs. I love deviled eggs. And devil's food. And pretty much anything devilish. Except for Lucifer the cat from Cinderella. Aside from that, I had coffee at 11 at night, so I'm wired.
Things are back to normal here (except for the remaining mess).
Zorra has emerged from her hiding place, and seems no worse for wear...there were no huge fights, only a few uncomfortable moments, and we actually went through some of the family jewelery (what there is) and sorted it.
I got the one thing I really wanted, while most of the other stuff I chose my mom still might wear, so basically, we have a list of who gets what someday. It was all pretty morbid.
(My dad's gold football charm from 1954 - which he gave to my mom when he proposed - I actually offered to my sister if she really wanted it, but she decided to stick with something technically worth more money, while I got to keep what was priceless).
Coffee at 11 - Bad Shira.
Gracie, I'm with ya! I had an iced coffee after dinner and there is no end in sight!
(Hi, YWIW!)
Well, thank goodness for those caffeine junkies on the East Coast!
Hi Miss P. I hope you had a fabulous fourth!
I know YWIW - But damn, it was GOOD coffee. I'm glad things are back in order. I understand the morbidity of that situation. Reminds me of a Gilmore Girls episode when Kelly Bishop (playing Rory and Lorelei's mother and grandmother, respectively) gives them post its and says "Tell us what you want now".
Miss P - You sleeping at all lately? I worry you posting so late at night!
My body is still adjusting to East Coast time! I've been off since Thursday afternoon, so I've been able to sleep late. Tomorrow is laundry day so I'll just be hangin' (and so will my laundry.) (Sorry. Couldn't resist!)
We're talking about returning to SoCal in April.
Caldwell B. Cladwell went way over the top (as usual) and prepared a fabulous feast for my friends. We had Besty's Killer Margaritas and Kir Royales, too. Not to mention dessert!
April might be good for me too, who knows?
Good luck adjusting! Can I bring my laundry over too?
Okay, sleeping pill trumps coffee. Night all.
Ohhh - April is a lovely time of year.
I just took some benadryl to sleep, so I am following Shira's lead.
Miss P, get some sleep, and give your kids a hug from me and the kitties (as well as Ted, in a respectful, friendship sort of way).
Night all, have a beautiful Sunday.
Good-night, my friends. (And Shira, of course you can bring your laundry over. But then you gotta play Charades with my kids and me!)
XOOO

MissP - there's an easy way to deal with still being on Cali time - come back!
Monday sounds like fun.
So ... 51 mile bike ride today - longest ever for me by 14 miles - and then a friend's b-day party. So tired ... I think I might actually get to sleep quickly tonight.
DG, I'm only coming back if you promise to take me out for dinner...to Chuck E. Cheese. (LOL! Sartre was wrong. Hell isn't other people. It's Chuck E. Cheese.)
DD, even your post sounds "tired"! You should sleep tonight...and "YAY" for your new personal best!!!
Farewell, my lovelies. Till tomorrow!

MissP - I would even go THERE for you. But no one else!
Oh, and congrats, DD
Mornin'.
Wow, next April could be shaping up to be epic on the Left Coast. We may be back here as well.

Welcome to Cali, D2
Thanks, DG! We're getting ready to take our morning walk along the beach, and then just hang around the hotel this afternoon. Tonight we may be getting together with one of my cousins and his wife, he lives in Tustin.

"We're getting ready to take our morning walk along the beach"
Sounds lovely. The TinMan just got back from his morning consititutional - which he has to do EARLY, before the infernal heat really gets crankin' here.
I'm not someone to wish time away, but I can't wait for tomorrow
