Oh, DG. I can truly imagine. *washes brain out with soap*

I did it in Norfolk, Virginia - so there were always LOTS and LOTS of sailors in attendance.
Not that I noticed, or anything.
I just realized that was over a quater century ago.
I need to lie down now.
A quarter century ago? Why, I wasn't even born yet! *evil snicker*

Shira, I want you to think about just one little thing for me, ok? I believe you've had many experiences where you enjoyed the ability of your godfathers to really do some magic.
Now. I want you to consider what happens when mama ain't happy.
Capice?
And remember, one of my favorite sayings is "Old age and treachery trumps youth and vigor."
I love you too.
*bows head in apology and remorse*
Wise move, Shira. Remember, this FG is on the East Coast, not too far from where you live.

See, while the whole 'batting of eyelashes' thing has absolutely no effect on me, I DO get this particular response
That's ok, honey, we've all enjoyed our youth - I, myself, continue to this day.
Just remember that you're the ones who will end up wiping the drool off of our chins.
Oh, like you'd come to Queens, D2! You know I'll come into Manhattan to get put in my place.
And for the record...
"I believe you've had many experiences where you enjoyed the ability of your godfathers to really do some magic."
It's true. You gentlemen truly make my life incredibly magical. And I'm so grateful for you all.
Never underestimate my ability to get to Queens, Shira.
That's sweet. You'll still never get my car.
And DG - I promise to hire some incredibly handsome young gay nurse to take care of you all. Though the drooling problem might worsen when he's there.

"Never underestimate my ability to get to Queens, Shira."
That goes for me, as well.
And you KNOW I'm insane enough to do it, if I felt it necessary.
Ultimately, it would all depend on the nurse you were dangling in front of me.
So to speak.
So what will it take, boys? If I could get you all together, 'twould be so much fun!
You know, that would be a GREAT birthday present. Spending time with people who mean so much to me.
if y'all are coming to queens, let me know so the mrs. can put on some shoes.
FGF field trip?
Went to buy tix for ACL today, and wow, they add $11 per ticket in fees. That's crazy! And I'm using the special advance purchase code which is only good online. I'd have to wait until Friday to buy tix in person, and am afraid I won't get good tix.
I hate ticketing fees. Highway robbery, I tell ya!
It astounds and amuses me how the FGF are pretty much the ONLY people that can wrangle Shira in.
They have the FGF gift.
Images of a young DG as Dr. Frankenfurter are now preventing me from doing my work...
Bad DG!
Wrangled? What am I, a sheep? Never!
Uh-oh ... cheffy's in trouble now.
Hehe.
Is it such a good idea to get mad at the person who prepares your food?
So I'll heat up Lean Cuisine - just to be sure :)
mamie, if you were referring to me earlier, i'm pretty sure that last i checked, i'm considered an adult. let's see... i can vote. i graduated from college. i pay rent. pay for my car. pay for my gas. pay my bills. have a job.... do i need to continue?

I think she was referring to me, actually. I'm not an adult. I'll turn 18 soon, but I still live at home, at least until school starts in August. I can vacate the thread, if need be. I apologize for bringing in my "childish antics." What was I thinking?
