dgg, i'm pretty sure both of us were being referred to.
Girls, you are both very much welcome.
And I hope you know that I was just being sarcastic this morning and not seriously trying to tell you what you can and can't discuss in here.

Of course we know that, Shamey. I humored you, as you saw. It was perfectly acceptable.
I don't think Mamie was being sarcastic, though.
Don't blow things out of proportion, y'all.
Everyone's welcome to participate or not. God knows I tend to behave childishly here at times. I can't reminisce all the time.
No, I don't think so, but she doesn't speak for anyone but herself.
Anyway, what's up? What's everyone got going on this week?

Yes, well.
We've got the cleaning tornado blowing through for my party next weekend, and that's about it. Fun fun fun!
And the biggest child of them all races in and does a cannonball right into the middle of the thread!

You still flying out of town in July 5th, kiddo?
DG was probably better, but this will have to do for now.

shamey, i didn't take any offense from you. and in general, i'd totally agree with what you were saying, but i know that in this particular case there were extenuating circumstances. but yeah, i was more responding to what mamie said. cause last i checked, we all vent/gripe/celebrate. and yeah. i dunno. *crawls out of room quietly*
Oh, get back in here. Nobody has to leave. That was my whole point.
lol. i'm not leaving. but i had to end my speech somehow. and my cat is sleeping in my clothes. won't even say hi to me, but gives me evil looks when i talk to her... while she's in my clothes.
Drama queen!
Thanks for that Shameless - it was a nice distraction for a few minutes.
As for the whole adults stuff, I think when we have real problems or issues, and need advice and support, we come here for other folks to advise and suggest how to work out our issues. But, other times, it is just a place to gather and say hi - a BWW coffee house.
Back to a really boring contract.
*Fights urge to find timewarp and watch that!*
you know it. and YES PLEASE! is it friday yet?
Aha, I love that pic, Shamey.
And me in trouble? Never!!!
Cheffy wants to cook today, but the casserole dish Shira has in her cabinets still had the sticky label stuck to the inner bottom of the pan. The residue refuses to come off... I would just line it with foil and go, but would the heated glue residue kill us all? (Like putting plastic wrap in the oven?)

Sort of! Not...
My school secretary just dropped by with a graduation gift. Isn't that sweet?
Cheffy - if I worried about all the things that could kill me I would never do anything.
Looking like a slow week for me for a change. My August/Sept. show fell through, which is fine because now I have the time off to bike. And we're doing a reading for my next project in October. So all's good.
cheffy, try using acetone (nail polish remover) on cotton balls to get it off.

Or soak it in hot water for a couple of minutes.
Here ya go, YWIW.

That is really sweet, DGG. I don't think I ever even spoke to my High School secretaries.
Well, I usually don't worry about the things that could kill me, but this is just one of those annoying "Why the hell won't you come off, sticky crap?!" It's soaking now... We'll see.
Oh and body just said "Caffeeeeeeeeeeeeeine. We need!!!!"
DD, if your show has been cancelled, doesn't that leave July 19 as a possibility? Just sayin'.

So, I've been saying for awhile that we were back-and-forth about whether or not to do a NYC trip this Fall.
Well, we just found out the whole AC system needs to be replaced, and/or re-habbed - which can only take place over the next TWO WEEKS (there're just too many issues popping up for it to happen sooner. So, on top of the expense of the system, we're going to have a hotel bill on top of it.
One good thing - the decision finally got made, if not in the manner we would have preferred
Ouch, DG. That's an expensive bill to foot.
Thanks for the acetone trick, MD. I'll try that in a minute. :)
