Morning Adults.
Hoping for a quiet weekend, then off to Dallas for a couple of days for work.
One of my favorite co-workers retires today. One of the nicest, most gentle men I have ever met in my life. My office will be a little less lovely after he leaves.
Happy pre-Oscar Friday.

I have a 1:00 conference call with a certain director/producer we all know and love out on the other coast.
Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

We just had a great International Dance assembly. Very talented dancers! Now I'm torn about whether to be a salsa dancer or Irish Step dancer.

Your hair won't curl or bounce enough for step dancing. Just sayin'.

I vote for step dancer.
Can I express my love for my local produce market? I am fortunate it is about 3 blocks from my job so i can run over at lunch. - $9 and I have milk, ground turkey, salad stuff for a week, bananas, blueberries, garlic cloves, and peppers (attempting stuffed peppers tonight). And the quality is great. I <3 them.

Happy Friday!
Tink, I was a strange kid and would make stuffed peppers! I baked bread at 10!

Stuffed Peppers were Chris's favorite thing his mom made, so I was not allowed to even consider approaching the recipe by wrath of mama bear. I think 3.5 years has passed statue of limitations on it and I can safely try.

Wow! 3.5 years!
Hope they turn out excellent! We might go out to dinner with our best friends that we hardly ever see! Lots to catch up.
Wedding tomorrow - widow and widower - nice people!

deet - I loved telling my boss I had been on a conference call with the playwright of my next play.
Just saw a pretty darn good Chicago at a local theatre. I was afraid of what they would do, and they really managed to pull it off.

The 5am alarm felt extra-early this morning.
But worth it.... Always fun to watch the Oscars. And, I think I kind of liked some of what they did last night to mix it up last night. My Facebook feed was mostly negative, but I kind of liked it.
While I was sorry for Viola Davis, I LOVED that Meryl Streep won.
I have a list of movies I now need to catch up on!
Happy Monday, all. I can't believe it will be March in a few days.

'Morning!
I gave up on the AA show at 11:00pm. My favorite part of the evening was the new commercial for Revenge.

It was an awesome commercial!
Mornin.
I liked most of the Billy stuff on the show though I could not always hear what he was saying, worst tech'd show, ever. Loved some of the presenters, not so much some others. Mostly everyone won that was expected. I love Cirque, always have, but that was not their best showing, imo.

There was something funky going on with the sound feed. I couldn't tell if it was just my reception. The voices had a tinny reverb. I just didn't find the show very interesting in general.

Morning peeps! It was nice to sleep in today. The only good thing about the Oscars I enjoyed was me winning the pool I ran
. I got 14 right. It would have been 15 if Meryl didn't take it away from Viola. That was a surprise to me. Although I do love Meryl. Some beautiful gowns although Viola could have picked a better color. I was thinking her gown in peach or pale yellow would have been so much better with her coloring. To each his own I guess.

Yep, the sound was funky. Wanted Viola over Meryl, but really, it is has been such a long timem since Meryl won. I do adore her. I am hoping that Viola gets an amazing part that gives her one in the next couple of years.
Off to Dallas for a day and a 1/2. Here's hoping not too many things are destroyed while I am gone!

I assume no Emmy for the Oscars! Millions of dollars and those sound problems.
I LOATHE the Oscars, but it consumes the house for one night! Oh well!
Crappy Monday - could not sleep - college worries and literally college stress dreams - Moony - could not find the passwords in the dream for one of the college financial aid sites! Then, I was yelling at orphans!

And did the orphans give you the password? Because if they did, that means you hate your mother. Or you want some ice cream. I forget which.

Never go the password. The orphans represent the words with C16 in her refusal to take her junior year and ACT prep seriously!
