The puppies were born last night. So. Excited. (No pics yet, but as soon as I get one, I'll share.)

Today also marks 6 months since my Dad died. 8/29-2/29. It's hard to believe, and feels like yesterday all rolled into one. I started to read a series of booklets on the process of Grieving, that I'd given my Mom to read. They're very comforting.
Happy news about puppies being born!
I am wrapping things up in D'town today. Am doing about 8 loads of laundry as all the sheets and towels are cleaned, beds are re-made and I get things set up for my sister's return. I'll pick the dog up (who was boarded this week, just to keep things a little bit more sane) later today, and try to juggle some work deadlines in-between. Once the work day ends, I'll take Mom back to CT then I'll go back to NY and... have a client presentation at 9am tomorrow. Good times. (Fingers crossed Mother Nature cooperates for my multi-state drive tonight!)
It's been a great week. I have loved every moment of being Aunt Addy!

And, I'm rarely here when Hep posts.
I wish I had more time to play
Boobs, hope you enjoyed your time off!

My friend, who lost her sister back in November, has a play in the Midwinter Festival, and I went to see it last night. She actually wrote it about 5 years ago, and it eerily semi-echoed her November timeframe. She'd tweaked the play since then, and the eulogy she read at her sister's funeral was verbatim what she put in the script.

yay REVENGE!!!!
I feel complete now, I actually have a ticket to a show. I only saw two last year, I've felt like there is something missing inside me. Obv. there are others I'd rather see before LOF but cheap is cheap. If anyone is around NYC on Sat 4/7, lemme know, I'd love to see people.

We started the day off with a birthday party for two sophomores who are turning 16 today. It's only the fourth time they have been able to celebrate on their actual birth date. They loved the big fuss we made over them.
Addy - your energy never ceases to amaze me. I would have been exhausted by day 3.
A dear friend from high school/college is coming east (from San Fran) in April and we are going to meet up in NYC. We haven't seen each other since 1984! We're meeting up on the 13th (Friday the 13 - YIKES!)for dinner and The Best Man and I thought I'd stay in town for the 14th. If any framily folks are around that weekend, let me know!

Happy Leap Day!
My father's last sibling died yesterday. My dad is the oldest and outlasted them all! He got to say good bye and said a Hail Mary!

This past year I reconnected with 150 former Junior High school classmates on Facebook and one of the classmates and I have been chatting quite a bit since we both rode our bikes all over the area. Ride, as in, 60 miles a day when I was 13 to 25 years old. He is in the same bike group as the former Miss North Carolina's mother who died.

Brd - I'm sorry for your family's loss. It's hard to lose all your siblings - they're the last link to your parents.
