The puppies were born last night. So. Excited. (No pics yet, but as soon as I get one, I'll share.)
Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)
My leap-year birthday friend turns 13 today! He's been waiting such a loooong time to become a teenager :)
Today also marks 6 months since my Dad died. 8/29-2/29. It's hard to believe, and feels like yesterday all rolled into one. I started to read a series of booklets on the process of Grieving, that I'd given my Mom to read. They're very comforting.
Happy news about puppies being born!
I am wrapping things up in D'town today. Am doing about 8 loads of laundry as all the sheets and towels are cleaned, beds are re-made and I get things set up for my sister's return. I'll pick the dog up (who was boarded this week, just to keep things a little bit more sane) later today, and try to juggle some work deadlines in-between. Once the work day ends, I'll take Mom back to CT then I'll go back to NY and... have a client presentation at 9am tomorrow. Good times. (Fingers crossed Mother Nature cooperates for my multi-state drive tonight!)
It's been a great week. I have loved every moment of being Aunt Addy!

My friend, who lost her sister back in November, has a play in the Midwinter Festival, and I went to see it last night. She actually wrote it about 5 years ago, and it eerily semi-echoed her November timeframe. She'd tweaked the play since then, and the eulogy she read at her sister's funeral was verbatim what she put in the script.
REVENGE TONIGHT!!!!
I hung out with Cheyenne Jackson in his dressing room waayyyyyy before he tickled D2."unleash the girly"

Addy, my time home was very relaxing...just what the doctored ordered. I did see Patrizio Buanne at the Count Bassie on Friday night. He was so much fun! He did a couple of Italian favorites that brought me back to my childhood when life was so much easier. When song, dance and laughter filled my home. It brought tears to my eyes, but the good ones.

I feel complete now, I actually have a ticket to a show. I only saw two last year, I've felt like there is something missing inside me. Obv. there are others I'd rather see before LOF but cheap is cheap. If anyone is around NYC on Sat 4/7, lemme know, I'd love to see people.
BroadwayBoobs: I'll give all of you who weren't there a hint of who took the pictures ...it rhymes with shameless
We started the day off with a birthday party for two sophomores who are turning 16 today. It's only the fourth time they have been able to celebrate on their actual birth date. They loved the big fuss we made over them.
Addy - your energy never ceases to amaze me. I would have been exhausted by day 3.
A dear friend from high school/college is coming east (from San Fran) in April and we are going to meet up in NYC. We haven't seen each other since 1984! We're meeting up on the 13th (Friday the 13 - YIKES!)for dinner and The Best Man and I thought I'd stay in town for the 14th. If any framily folks are around that weekend, let me know!
Here's one from my small little freaky world. A former Miss North Carolina, who I know, danced at a friends (the one I won the Emmy with) dance studio as a child in High Point, NC. After she won, my college friend Robbie who lives in Charlotte, was chatting with a co-worker and lo and behold, his niece is the same Miss NC. Yesterday, the same Miss NC's mother died in a tragic bicycle accident while on a group ride.
This past year I reconnected with 150 former Junior High school classmates on Facebook and one of the classmates and I have been chatting quite a bit since we both rode our bikes all over the area. Ride, as in, 60 miles a day when I was 13 to 25 years old. He is in the same bike group as the former Miss North Carolina's mother who died.
