Moony, 39 more days until the 1940 census is available. I just emailed a first cousin on my father's side to get names and birth dates of his Mom and his siblings. His Mom is the only non-Italian in the family. Her parents were right off the boat from Ireland. Time to do a jig

Packed a lot into four days, huh? Our students are out at noon today, the adults, not so much (technology seminar).

Someone brought in warm cinnamon streusel coffee cake. Great way to start a Friday. Or, really, any day.

Morning peeps! Off today, but up early to take care of the kids.

I had a strange dream. Idina was hanging with me being she was doing a concert near me. She was taking a shower and I was on the phone with Shames. She got out of the shower and was looking for my laundry room being she needed to do some. I told her I was on the phone with my friend and she said HI to her which left Shames speechless. Then I woke up. Now I'm doing laundry.

Having a grand time being Aunt Addy. We've got the routine down, and with the school bus arrival at 7am, I'm cranking out work nice and early. (Which is good because working remotely is not the most efficient way to get things done. But glad I can do it!)

Happy Oscar Weekend to one and all. I feel like a real failure this year, having seen so few of the nominations. NEXT year I'll have a party again, and will be prepared with my film opinions. It's been too long.

I'm sure it's delicious, but I'll pass on the streusel coffee cake. It's past one in the a.m. and the mercury still reads in the 90s. Cake is not the first thing that comes to mind.

So one of the only things that helps me remain sane at this crapfest place I work at - my nice calm secluded office. And now I learn that they are moving me back upstairs and pretty much the same cubicle area from when I started here almost 5 years ago. fun.

Sorry I dont want to be debbie downer but I'm pissed.
