So what didn't you like? Let me guess; the swearing, the smoking, what else? Set? I actually like the set but I know many people don't.
DD is our fabulous Northwest correspondent,
I lucked out and got to go to see Frankie Valli after all! My friends were going, and the one decided she didn't want to, so I was offered the ticket. 4th row instead of the 1st row mezz ticket that popped up yesterday that I lost out on!
Then I came home and made deviled eggs to bring to barbeque later today.
Now, what the heck happened with the geeky girl? I read the meltdown thread, but I can't figure out why Craig locked it. Just because he got interrupted at dinner? Who the heck interrupted him anyway? Can anyone fill me in?

I was wondering the same thing girly... nothing seemed to be out of control on the meltdown thread.
the bigger question is why would several moderators have to contact craig? it's a message board, right. if they thought something was objectionable, just delete it.
why all the fuss? i cannot imagine being bothered on a night out by such nonsense. i would hope the mods would be able to make a decision that any 7-year-old would be able to make without asking permission.
ya'll best be careful or this one will be next.

There was much more to the meltdown thread earlier in the evening, but most of it has been deleted. However, I must say, none of it was at all out of hand, offensive or even mildly inappropriate. It was entirely just questions as to who this mystery moderator is and why some people's entirely non-offensive posts were getting deleted this evening. However almost as fast as we were posting, mod was deleting.
I am really not sure why Craig got involved at all. The whole thing was downright tame compared to a regular night on BWW. There was one poster (I don't recall who) who had an avatar of Craig's picture with a fake mustache, goatee and glasses drawn on. Again, pretty mild stuff.
more importantly, what did craig have for dessert?
Robb, I fear we'll never know.
Colleen, thanks for the update.

I want to know how Craig talked his way into the managers office to comandeer the computer in order to lock the thread from the restaurant. Or maybe he ran out to Rathnaits UPS shop. lol.

What's with all this locking? It's like BWW Alcatraz!
Craig might drop by and tell us, he likes these threads, doesn't he?
I am not quite sure what is going on (like usual).
And cheeze, love your sig - it, alas, represents my social life right now!

Cheeze, what's that pic from? Angry Beavers or something, I can't remember what it was called.

Yes - its Norby the angry Beaver. It is a tribute to a past poster before you joined.
who might just happen to be lurking this afternoon.
But won't ever again. ouch.

I honestly thought the 'angry beaver' homage was for Beaverhausen - but what do I know.
I did too, DG, but I guess it could go either way. Hope you're having a nice weekend!

I am, sweetie, thanks for asking Tonight is the TinMan's closing night of his Shakespeare season, and I'm trying to catch things up around the house (I've been gone for a couple of days on business, and you know what happens when you leave a man in the house alone!) And I've got to get things together, because we've got quite a few theatrical events coming up in succession, and then two vacation trips back-to-back!
I know, our lives our SO rough
Good morning all!! We are back from our week in the mountains. Had a wonderfully awesome campsite right on the river with views of the mountains on both sides. Much time was spent in the hammock. Will try to post some pictures a bit later on.

Morning, Mom. I just commented to BGG last night that I hadn't seen you around much - and now I know why! Glad you had a restful vacation.

Mom and DG! My old pals!!
What wonderful weekends you have both had - or in your case, mom, a full week!
DG - was the Tin Man spectacular? You must be so proud.
Off to church, then a nice brunch. Catch you later!
It is so nice to be home (I really did miss hot running water) Today it is "The Opposite of Sex" at the WTF. What a way to end vacation. (Oh yeah and a ton of laundry has to be done!!)

Spot on DG - but you know how some people believe everything is about them.
How are things this morning all?
