The ONLY thing that matters to me is that YWIW is drinking gin - Huzzah!!!!

I swear I'm going to learn - I want to share like other people have, as it really does have an impact.

I had my one big drink - it is about all I can handle these days.

I am ready for a nap now.

Sounds more complicated than it really is.

Girly - truth be told, I could learn in less than a heartbeat.

I'm just resistant.

It's in my nature

I like that term. I think I'll adopt it. Apparently I'm stubborn, who knew?

		     			Morning.

F*CK working 9 to 6. I hate this.

And good morning to you too, DGG.

Hello, all!

		     			DGG! The language!

Morning.

		     			Morning gang!

A/C back on. It was nice having the doors and windows open for a change.

Hoping my friend's son comes over today to set up the new cable box, and the modem and router for my new laptop.

		     			Morning Adults.

Not sure what the day will bring today.

Glad the A/C is back on Girly.

And DGG 9-6, I wish I had those hours...

Lazy Sunday over here - going hiking later.
I may go to a women I have dubbed "The Cat Whisperer" - she is who I adopted Zorra from, and explain what is going on and get her suggestions...

And, DGG, I realized my last posted sounded all adulty - sorry about that - when you are young, and it is summer, working 9-6 really does kind of suck.

I had a night job at a move theater, so in HS and college break (until I worked at the summer camp as Bus driver and Assistant Director - laugh all you want) - I worked from about 2 until 11-1. Sometimes after hours we would have water balloon fights, play backgammon for a penny a point, or just relax and have some really bad alcohol. (Champale or Mickey's Big Mouth Any one?).

So, while I can recollect your pain...

It's better to have job than no job! (Well, within reason)
Oh YWIW, the a/c was off by choice. I hate running it all the time, and last night was nice and breezy. Didn't need it at all, but it's starting to feel a bit sticky, so I turned it back on.

Christopher just called and he's coming over at 12:30 to hook up all my stuff. *does happy dance* Now I need to go move my CD tower and some other stuff out of the way. So happy he didn't forget. He's a good kid. I think I'll keep him.

Welcome to the afternoon, friends. Well, almost.
		     			Hey linnie.

Girly - with my electric bill last month, I should turn off my darn A/C a little more often. It freaking tripled. And, I only have it on part of the time. I cannot imagine what folks pay who live in truly hot and humid areas.

I turn it on when it hits the 80's.

Our electric last month was just under 400 bucks.
*Gasp* and I thought 165 was bad!

Yikes.

Our electric bills in the warm months are roughly HALF of what they are in the cold months!

I am really sick today. It feels like a sinus infection. I had nightmares all night.

1. Aliens were trying to abduct me, ala Close Encounters by sucking me through the air vents.

2. A crazed knife-wielding killer was stalking me.

3, The cast of Drowsy was working on a show in my theatre and someone from the OBC died and they just found out, so they were devastated. I was trying to console them and my boss kept saying, "That's impossible! No one has died! I would have heard about it! Go tell them to start rehearsing!"

So...how are all of YOU doing?

And what did you drink last night Miss P?

Or better yet, what sinus medication are you taking?

Off to run a few errands, and try and speak with the "Cat whisperer."

Fell better!

Just got back from a lovely hike - pictures uploading. I climbed rocks, I TOUCHED rocks and dirt. It was very nice. Now can I please go to the spa?
