I have never had mono. In fact, I have never even been in the hospital over night.

To add insult to injury, I jammed my shoulder against a cabinet when I came home with Stoli, and it was just about all healed.

Not a good day all the way around.

DG, I just miss him terribly. It hurts. He lives in the next town over, but we both work conflicting shifts almost every day, and it's super hard to hang out. So, I was wickedly disappointed to spend all week looking forward to tonight, and have him not feel well.

I'm going to bed, because I'm also getting over what he has. It figures that we'd infect each other with our first kiss, doesn't it? Goodnight!

*runs to get the Bombay for YWIW*

*quickly*

It's still so cute, even with infection.

Oh, YWIW. *hugs*

Much better - on the rocks, with two martini olives.

Thanks.

Some things I read here leave me . . . well, they just leave me

And DGG, I REALLY wasn't trying to give you that hard a time - and I REALLY tried to word things so that every base was covered! Of course you're disappointed - and trust me, we ALL understand.

But you probably should get some rest. Eventually, you both WILL be healthy, and that first kiss awaits . . .

OK, I read that as they had their first kiss, but that is what infected them... and this was just follow-up practice.
YWIW, I don't want to add insult to injury, but I want you guys to see the babies I've been playing with.

No adding insult to injury - babies are beautiful no matter what.

If something is seriously wrong with Stoli, I may have to get a baby just so Zorra has someone to be with that does not scare her to death.

They are adorable.

The kitten is 11 weeks old, and is currently meowing outside my door. No, she can't sleep with me, I'll wake up feeling like hell.

The puppies I believe are 6 weeks.

OMG - I want to bury my face in the puppies!!! Could they BE any cuter?!?

And YWIW, I have you Sheltie you can have as a companion for Zorra - she's as neurotic as she is, they'd get along famously. And she's cheap.

They couldn't be. It was difficult to leave them!

I let the other cat in - she wants attention, but only on her time. Brat. :)

I am thinking of a feline companion.

One neurotic cat is plenty. I am just trying to figure out worst case scenarios - i.e., if he really is sick, what should I do to make it easier for Zorra.

Blame it on the attorney in me.

And those puppies really are cute!

You're a great kitty Mommy, YWIW.

It took me a moment to realize Shira wasn't looking in the mirror.

HeHeHe

And YWIW - of course you need another Pussy. *ahem*

Like I would actually give up my daughter . . .

I figured you'd get on that, DG.

And I know how much you love that dog :)

She looks a bit like Zorra. I see she has a similar attitude.
She's not shy, she's just a diva. We get along.
Good thoughts winging their way from Jersey, YWIW!!

DG, if you don't take a picture of your girl with your phone camera, I'll cry. I WANT to see her!

		     			Thanks Girly,

DG has posted pictures of his baby before. I think it is time for him to do so again!

Just to be clear, I've posted pics of a Sheltie who looks JUST LIKE Christy, but never actually of her.

I mean it when I say I've not yet learned how

I could have sworn you posted pictures of both babies - the one that is still with you, and the one that is no longer with you.

The Gin must be hitting me!

Excuses, excuses, YWIW.
I will take them when I can get them.

I am eating watermelon. For what it is worth.

You should make a watermelon-gin martini.
