But the REALLY big news is that Starina got her hair chopped off. It's really short. She hasn't had it this short since she was a baby! It looks so chic!

Well, back from the Rescue folks - first, they loved the name Cobalt.

They think it is just a little cold and maybe all of the stress that he has been through. I take him back again for shots next week.

And Miss P, I bet she looks adorable.

No not me! Though I did adopt a new kitten after my beloved Stoli had to be put to sleep.

Nah, the avatar is of Stoli the week before he died. I thought I had months, or maybe even a year after the tumor was found, but I came home about 10 days ago and found him paralyzed. So, he made the decision an easy one, and I held him and loved him until he was gone.

Tiff used to be a regular here, but she got an amazing job and then pops in every once in a while.

DGG is my unofficial niece - an exceptionally mature young lady getting ready to go to college, who, from all accounts, has a wonderful voice (as well as being adorable, thoughtful, and all-around great).

Hmmm, let's see. Over the past year, we spent two weeks in California and a whole bunch of weekends in NYC; my daughter made her musical stage debut; my son expanded his Barbie collection; and I've been traveling a lot for my job.

Another event that took place over the last year, TIFF: Addy and I saw a mouse in a Manhattan bar and got free champagne for our "suffering." I don't think I'll ever forget that!

I just got a text message from the girls from the concert saying "This is awesome! Thank you so so much." Now I'm all teary eyed. What a wuss.
