The wind STILL hasn't died down here
I've been out trying to wedge the 20ft of gutter hanging off the house against the property wall, just to keep it from rattling around - or pulling loose and breaking god-knows-what.
I would REALLY like it if the winds would just STOP!

"I'm just leaving the bank now."
Yeah, I've used that line too.
Works, most of the time.
Sometimes it's even true.
Depends on which "bank" you are leaving IYKWIM.

Evening all. I'm back home now. Let life begin again.
As for the parental/hospital/end-of-life issues I understand. While my Dad will hang on physically forever it seems, he's not doing well cognitively (and of course has no idea about it)!

Shira, where were you?
We have had about 8" of snow. The streets suck and parking is ridiculous! After spending most of the day working a fund raiser Mrs. Brd. convinced me to go to the bar and got home at 3:00 am.

Posted: 1/12/09 at 3:12amHappy week.
deep-delving, dark, deliberate you would say
browsing on spire and bogland; but today
our sky-blue slates are steaming in the sun,
our yachts tinkling and dancing in the bay
like racehorses. We contemplate at last
shining windows, a future forbidden to no one.

Morning peeps lah !!! Well I caught up on all my Brothers & Sisters this weekend, well all except the one that aired last night. I just love this series. It was nice being able to finish one and go onto the next week without waiting.
Now I will wait until I have 2 more episodes before I watch again.

Things are okay here, Boobs - nothing too exciting, nothing too awful. Sounds like fun where you are.

Dtwo..sometimes "okay" is good. I wouldn't say "fun" here, but very pretty with all the red and gold decorations. It's actually more festive than Christmas. My staff and I spent Friday decoration our side of the office...looks so pretty. the other half of the office still have Christmas balls hanging..that staff needs to catch up...they asked me if I would continue down to their side...I told them to give me the $$$ for the decorations and I would

I haven't started the work week yet, but I know it's going to be a busy one, at least.
I have, however, gotten a good hour of writing in this morning so I feel like I've accomplished something.
