No gun is probably a good idea.
How about a cattle prod, just to keep people away?
I need one of those on a regular basis. Friggin' annoying people.
*waves g'bye*
Off to Philly.

We have to go change the TinMan's mother's bed to a hospital bed this morning, and it's stirring up memories for him of having to do that with his late partner - and realizing that the end is rapidly approaching. Nothing's harder than seeing someone you love in pain - and not being able to do anything about it but just be there for them.
Life can be such an interesting journey.
I know exactly how you're feeling, Q. And how the Tin Man is feeling.

Vodka shots help.
When my mother passed away in October, the home hospice workers took her hospital bed out my parent's room within a couple of hours - it really upset my father. He just couldn't understand why they had to remove it so quickly.
My recent death experiences have been more sudden, but we went through this with my grandmother. It is a horrible process **hugs to all**

My Jadji (Polish for grandfather) was dying in a hospital bed in one of the bedrooms at my grandparents house. One of those old hospital beds with the handles on the bottom in front of the bed to raise the upper body, feet, etc.
Picture my folks and my grandmother walking in to find 4 year old girly, sitting on the floor in front of the bed, trying with all her might to turn those darn handles every which way. Couldn't turn them at all, but the knobs on the end kept spinning all the way around, so that was amusing me.
I was swooped up off the floor so darn fast!

By the weay, Q, I finally got down to the newly renovated Musuem of American History over the holidays. My personal take on the renovations: "UGH! This is what they've done with my tax dollars?!?" Very unattractive - cold, austere, colorless. As the washington Post described it, "All the charm and style of a 1960 airport, right down to the green and grey linoleum."
It does not do justice to the marvelous collections it houses.

Edit: Oops! Nevermind. Eden did leave. Bummer!
But, I still love me some gavin!
Shamey I plotzed upon reading the Gavin news last night. I knew there were rumors, and was keeping my fingers crossed.

K, I'm a bit calmer now but now have a head ache. One day all the stars will align and I will have a day with no issues, right???
I don't know much about Creel but I know he is well liked. I'd be interested in finally seeing the production.
His voice is like BUTTAH!
But, I still don't think I'm going to get to see this production.
The planes have stopped flying?
Just for me, Deet.
