Morning, Pip - it is indeed Carl's birthday. He was on last night and some of us wished him the best - he thanked us, but said he probably wouldn't remember it when he woke up. I wouldn't expect to see him for awhile

BT, i had it out last night when i was making dough... i just don't know what i'm going to do with said dough yet... i could make sugar cookies... or snickerdoodles... or my mom's christmas cut-out cookies... who knows!!!

I like to get a nice little pot of orange peel and cinnamon and clove simmering on the stove to make the house smell good. I am anxious to hear how the puff pastry turns out.

Yeah, well growing boys sometimes don't know enough to get home at a decent enough hour to they can out of BED when they are supposed to!! I just grabbed a banana on my way out the door!
