Yes, I remember Treasure Hunt.
I always felt so sorry for the people who ended up with clunkers...especially when they learned that they passed on something great...

Treasure Hunt was the most bizarre game show because it relied on nothing but luck. Pop the balloon and if you find a star, you're the contestant. Choose a box and see if there is something good inside. That was pretty much all there was to the show.
The Match Game is still a hoot to watch on the Game Show Network. Charles and Brett were always having their own private party up there and Richard Dawson would throw around such attitude. It's hilarious. The contestants nearly always choose one of them for the bonus round. I also liked Marcia Wallace of The Bob Newhart Show because she was usually come up with the most random answers.

Just jumping right in here. Has anyone noticed the sudden popularity of 70's songs in tv ads, especially car ads?
One of my favorites is the use of The Bay City Rollers "Saturday Night" which I just heard in some as yesterday.

Press Your Luck was always one that caught my attention for some reason. MY mom, however, remains to this day a Wheel of Fortune fan.

I'll get the scented oils ready. You both can come over and oil down Nina.
Don't fix that typo, I love it just the way it is.

I needed to share this with all my friends on this Thread:
MOMENTS IN LIFE
There are moments in life when you miss someone
so much that you just want to pick them from
your dreams and hug them for real!
When the door of happiness closes, another opens;
but often times we look so long at the
closed door that we don't see the one,
which has been opened for us.
Don't go for looks; they can deceive.
Don't go for wealth; even that fades away.
Go for someone who makes you smile,
because it takes only a smile to
make a dark day seem bright.
Find the one that makes your heart smile.
Dream what you want to dream;
go where you want to go;
be what you want to be,
because you have only one life
and one chance to do all the things
you want to do.
May you have enough happiness to make you sweet,
enough trials to make you strong,
enough sorrow to keep you human and
enough hope to make you happy.
The happiest of people don't necessarily
have the best of everything;
they just make the most of
everything that comes along their way.
The brightest future will always
be based on a forgotten past;
you can't go forward in life until
you let go of your past failures and heartaches.
When you were born, you were crying
and everyone around you was smiling.
Live your life so at the end,
you're the one who is smiling and everyone
around you is crying.

Ida Morganstern--now SHE was a force to be reckoned with!
Charles Nelson Reilly: Wasn't he also on on "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir" sitcom with Hope Lange?
Saw the Alice Cooper commercial last night about shopping for school supplies. That little girl looks so peeved it cracks me up. What a fun "flashback."
I loved watching game shows when I was sick and home from school. Propped up in my parents room and watching their black and white televsion...Let's Make A Deal, Dating Game, Newlywed Game, Password, Match Game, To Tell the Truth...
