I'm such an idiot when it comes to computers.
I've been trying for 15 minutes to download the one and only photo I have on my computer into the fan photos section, but because it's not jpeg format it doesn't 'take'.... Oh well...
Can you say 'loser'?!
NYadgal...I had the same problem, but a co worker taught me how to do it. Tough to explain though.
Actually, Nyadgal, that sounds like something I would do. Everyone have a good time and leave some fun things for me to read in the AM! G'night!

Tinfoil...The Terrorizing Terminator
I went to school before they had computers...or at least computers like these.
I remember having to learn how to write these endless looping computer 'programs' for honors math in high school. Don't know how I ever graduated...

Saving a image file...
Once you save the file on your PC, open it in Paint, for example, and save the image file as a jpeg file.
Then you can upload it to the fan photo page.
thanks - let me go try that...

By the way...
I'm also hiring...several positions for Jazz at Lincoln Center, and for our new theatre at Columbus Circle.
I if you, or anyone you know, loves jazz music and knows about marketing for a performing arts group, let me know.
See, now this is what I love about the adults, we're all looking out for each other. No sarcasm,no spelling correcting
Jose - sounds wonderful.
Maybe I'll give my job to boobs and take yours!
And - you're right (a few posts back) about the TV on all day. I'm the queen of MUTE!
So many jobs available just through people on this one thread. I have a friend who was recently laid off and will be looking for something after the summer. Maybe this will be the leverage I need to convincew him that there are jobs available in NYC and get him to finally come here.
Just keep the kids out of this thread or you'll be getting resumes for 16 year olds who want to move to NYC..LOL !!!
Don't you remember how great it felt when you got your first job?
That's one of the things I love about being in the position I'm in - being able to hire and then mentor people!
(And - if that post were on any other thread you can just imagine the response it would get... 'your first'... 'position' ...there would be no end to the comments!!)
Missionary...
I hear you, Boobs. Keep the kiddies away....and some of the adults who act like kids.
Sorry..I was just being childish with my answer to NYadgal..oops.
boobs - you're bad.
I was going to do the same thing but you beat me to it. Except I wasn't going to say Missionary.
yeah, I wouldn't have said that one, either!
I'm suddenly reminded of a childhood 'rhyme'
...when she was good she was very, very good...but when she was bad...
OH Nina...please tell
when she was good she was very, very good...but when she was bad...
She was better
missionary is very underrated!
remember that joke....a girl little girl and a bad little were sitting talking one day and the good little good said "it's hard being good" and the bad little girl said.."it has to be hard to be good".
Mae was a genius.
