NYadgal - we were just there in April - it was because of that trip that I finally started posting here - I felt like I actually could comment at that point. We are possibly considering another trip for theatre this coming year, but not until spring break. Ah, life being married to a teacher
Forgot to say "Thanks" to bdwaygirl and SOMMS for the info on the State theatre.
Also I just wanted to say in response to DG's appreciation of this "adult" thread that I feel like we've become like childhood friends with sharing our stories and all. I feel like I've known most of you for years now. You people really are the reason I stay on this board and still post. Thank you all for being so wonderful. Kisses and hugs all around from Boobs. xoxoxox
DGrant -well then - I, for one, will look forward to your spring break.
And in the meantime, we'll always have our smoking room.
(And, I'm a frequent flyer to your part of the world...so perhaps one of those trips I'll pack a fancy party dress and we can arrange a little Left Coast soiree...)
Boobs - my sentiments, exactly.
You have all become golden friends.

NYadgal - Always happy to share the sunshine I'm counting on an "I Am My Own Wife" rendevous, you know!
DGrant - I wouldn't miss it for the world!
(and, please make sure there's lots of sunshine on 9/18...I am in desperate need!)
Somms, you've seen Edie? Now there is a great set of legs. I got together with her just before she left for her shows In Ogunquit, Me and Rehoboth Beach and she was talking going into production for this show.
DGrant, you would love her. She's not like any drag performer you have ever seen. Her show is very clean humor and very 60's style entertainment, GO-GO dancing and all.
Nina..I am so looking forward to seeing this show.
Look at that pagenumber folks 190! Calls for a few mojitos and a song..
Celebrate good times....
How long till we reach 200?
Not long at all, mom.
BTW, where is my houseboy today? I have this Somms stalking me and threating to get info on me from The Boy. I ahve to talk to The Boy and make sure he knows the discipline he will face.
A mojito at lunch? Sure, why not!
I'm sure it won't be long until we reach 200...we're a chatty bunch!
I just hope there isn't some limit to the number of pages that can exist in a thread. I would hate for this all to be lost.
Nina,
You're safe here....we'll hide you from your stalkers.
I just hope that I'll be around to see it. I'll be away starting tomorrow for a hiking weekend in the White Mountains.
I hate missing milestones.
I almost had the boy moved in with me yesterday Nina. So close, so close.
mom - I'm not going to be around much either for the next week or so (although, as always, I promise to pop in whenever I can!)
I love the White Mountains - enjoy the fresh air!!
So - whoever gets to page 200 - if mom and I aren't here, please *clink* your glass in our honor!!
Don't worry Nina...I informed the boy that he will pay dearly if he says anything to anyone. You are safe here with us. Boobs will take care of all stalkers.
But boobs, I already know where you live!
ok, chickadees - I have to go.
Not sure of my schedule over the next few days, so if I don't get a chance to sneak back, have fun without me...and don't forget about me....
Til the next time...
NYadgal...how could we ever forget about you? We never forget family members. Stay in touch as best as possible.
SOMMS... it's okay that you know where I live sweetie...it's Nina who is uncomfortable with that. We love our Nina and don't want to upset her...so please be kind to her my friend. You can stalk me anytime you want..I'll even leave the key in the mailbox for you. Nina is our mystery siren and we like her that way. Now come and get me.
NYadgal we could never forget about you. Come back soon if you can!
NYadgal, you will be missed. Moon River is one of my all time favorite songs. I'll play it over and over again (on my turntable) in your absence.
Speaking of Moon River, here's a joke for you guys...
Two teenagers wander off to the bushes during a softball game on the outskirts of town and start necking.
After a while the boy stops.
"You know we've been doing this for a few weeks now and I think it's time we went all the way." he pleads.
"Well, maybe," she says, "but I'm a virgin and I heard it hurts. Besides all those people at the field may hear us."
The boy stops and says, "Hmmm, well then if it hurts, start making cow sounds, and I'll stop. But if it feels good start singing. That way no one will ever guess what we're really doing."
The girl agrees so they quickly take off their clothes and get down to business.
Ten minutes later people watching the game hear sounds echoing through the quiet countryside so loudly that the teams stop playing.
"Moooo ..... Moooooo ...... Moooooooon River .......!"
Love it, Boobs!!!! I'm on Rt. 79 ... get ready for me.
SOMMS..I should be there by 6:30. Hide in the bushes until I get home. I'm so excited !!!!!
Another giggle from Boobs!
