long and uneventful. Saw Dracula tonight. Left humming the set.
Two job interviews (as in day jobs) and an apartment to look at tomorrow, so make those Idina Hands. They're my new good luck symbols.

Undi - glad your book came. Mine should be here tomorrow. The premise certainly has me intrigued!
bway - find a place to live?
does anyone know if we're grandparents yet?
I wish. I am seeing a rocking place tomorrow in Brooklyn, so keep those fingers crossed.

Brooklyn - then you'll be ALL set to go for the BIGGEST SHOW OF THIS COMING SEASON!!!!
I'm VERY kidding
tee-hee. Whatever. I had such a good audition for that show, too...but I'm so inappropriate for any of the male roles (except that I can sing it).
It's in PArk Slope, undisc. Sounds like a winner to me, I love PS.
We'll see. I have other options I'm keeping open, especially if there's even a slight chance I can pass a credit check.
bway
Park SLope is a great neighborhood -- good luck and glad the audition went well....
Good Morning Gang. I have a fresh pot of coffee on. I hope eveyone had a lovely evening. I had such a migraine last night that I was in bed by 8:30. I haven't been in bed that early since I was about 9 yrs. old. At least I feel refreshed this morning.
So, is anyone else going to the Standing Ovations 2 ??? I went to the first one and had such a good time that I decided to start posting here. I ordered my tickets yesterday. It should be fun. Plus you get to meet some people from here face to face.
No word yet on Lizzie entering our world. I feel like we're the proud Threadparents.
Hello folks! No news yet on the Lizzie front. But with a hurricane coming maybe the drop in the barometeric pressure may help things along?
Loved the address quiz the only one I didn't know was Mary Richards. (Sad because I loved that show!)
School has started here so life is just going to become more and more interesting! Chorus, and U-Mass stuff.
Well time to re fill the coffee mug! Take care all. and have a great day!

Why is this song stuck in my head this morning???
I realized the way your eyes deceived me
with tender looks that I mistook for love
So take away the flowers that you gave me
And send the kind that you remind me of
Paper Roses
Paper Roses
Oh how real those roses seem to be
But they're only imitation,
Like you imitation love for me
I thought that you would be a perfect lover
You seemed so full of sweetness at the start
But like a big red rose that's made of paper
There isn't any sweetness in your heart
Paper Roses
Paper Roses
Oh how real those roses seem to be
But they're only imitation like you imitation love for me
OH BBoobs! Now it's stuck in my head!
Sorry Eddie...but I like to share with my friends those voices in my head.
So how many of you will admit to making or having those big paper carnations made out of tissue paper? Not the little kleenex ones you made in kindergarten, but those big, bright, ones that collected dust.
SOMMS you know I saved the ones you made for me. They're all in a vase in my curio. I think of you everytime I look at them.
Oh boobs, you are one sweet talker!
SOMMS you are such a sweetie pie. I will never throw those flowers away. I use a blow dryer to clean the dust off at least once a month. They're as beautiful as the day you sent them to me.
As usual, needed to share this with everyone...
Happiness.. in your mind
The 92-year-old, petite, well-poised and proud lady, who is fully dressed each morning by eight o'clock, with her hair fashionably coifed and makeup perfectly applied, even though she is legally blind, moved to a nursing home today. Her husband of 70 years recently passed away, making the move necessary.
After many hours of waiting patiently in the lobby of the nursing home, she smiled sweetly when told her room was ready. As she maneuvered her walker to the elevator, I provided a visual description of her tiny room, including the eyelet sheets that had been hung on her window. "I love it," she stated with the enthusiasm of an eight-year-old having just been
presented with a new puppy.
"Mrs.. Jones, you haven't seen the room .... just wait."
"That doesn't have anything to do with it," she replied. "Happiness is something you decide on ahead of time. Whether I like my room or not doesn't depend on how the furniture is arranged... it's how I arrange my mind. I already decided to love it "It's a decision I make every morning when I wake up. I have a choice; I can spend the day in bed recounting the difficulty I have with the parts of my body that no longer work, or get out of bed and be thankful for the ones that do. Each day is a gift, and as long as my eyes open I'll focus on the new day and all the happy memories I've stored away . just for this time in my life. Old age is like a bank account . you withdraw from what you've put in .. So, my advice to you would be to deposit a lot of happiness in the bank account of memories. Thank you for your part in filling my Memory bank. I am still depositing. Remember the five simple rules to be happy:
1 Free your heart from hatred.
2. Free your mind from worries.
3. Live simply.
4. Give more.
5. Expect less.

Eddie,
Goofy Grape!?! What a flash back. Omigosh! And your signature quote: I can HEAR their voices in my head. LOL!
And, Bboobs...alternating with Peter Marshall and Paul Lynde I now have Marie Osmond's voice stuck in my head, too.
Hey,Bboobs, if you are going to SO2...will you get someone to take a pic of you with MR. EDDIE VARLEY (*wild applause*) and post it on the fan photos page????

Undi, I'm shocked you only had to google one of them. Why are you on pain killers? Is everything okay? Did I miss something in skimming over the many pages of this thread that develop over night?
I'm drawing a blank on the name of those Kool-Aide type drink mixes that Varley is using for his new icon. What were they called? I remember they had the Goofy Grape and Rootin Tootin Raspberry but can't remember the other flavors.

Hi Mike, Hi Mike,
I Like to say Hi Mike,
Hi Mike, Hi Mike,
I like to say Hello.
How stupid when you think about it, singing to a microphone.
