B
Good morning all..I just wanted to share this...
The World is Mine
Today, upon a bus, I saw a very beautiful woman
And wished I were as beautiful.
When suddenly she rose to leave,
I saw her hobble down the aisle.
She had one leg and wore a crutch.
But as she passed, she passed a smile.
Oh, God, forgive me when I whine.
I have two legs; the world is mine.
I stopped to buy some candy.
The lad who sold it had such charm.
I talked with him, he seemed so glad.
If I were late, it'd do no harm.
And as I left, he said to me, "I thank you,
you've been so kind.
It's nice to talk with folks like you.
You see," he said, "I'm blind."
Oh, God, forgive me when I whine.
I have two eyes; the world is mine.
Later while walking down the street,
I saw a child I knew.
He stood and watched the others play,
but he did not know what to do.
I stopped a moment and then I said,
"Why don't you join them dear?"
He looked ahead without a word.
I forgot, he couldn't hear.
Oh, God, forgive me when I whine.
I have two ears; the world is mine.
With feet to take me where I'd go..
With eyes to see the sunset's glow.
With ears to hear what I'd know.
Oh, God, forgive me when I whine.
I've been blessed indeed, the world is mine.
If this poem makes you feel thankful, just send it to your friends.
After all, it's just a simple reminder that we have so much to be thankful for!
Give the gift of love. It never comes back empty !
Thanks BB, what a wonderful reminder of how much we have to be
thankful for!
A beautiful sentiment to start the day, Boobs.

Hey, DGrant!
I was just reveling in the MP3 link on the Patrick Wilson/Emmy Rossum thread on the main board. It's them singing "All I Ask Of You" from the upcoming POTO movie...
Patrick sounds so sweet, so soothing, so romantic... *sigh* I'll be a puddle in the theatre to be sure...
and heaven help the person who decides to open a noisy candywrapper, coughs, or makes any kind of commotion when he is singing. I've actually appointed a couple of my friends to be "crowd monitors" when Patrick is on the screen! LOL!

Twizzlers, Rice Cakes...
Lately I've been addicted to microwaved Doritos Baked Naco Chips.
I don't put cheese on them, I just nuke a bunch about 40-45 seconds and the warm chips taste fabulous...
And, I have a real thing for mashed potatoes right now, too.
I'm sure its a sign of impending senility! :o)
Going to listen to Patrick sing one more time then I'm off to Office Max for supplies. Back later, all!

Beacon - that actually sounds like a new job classification - 'theatre crowd monitors.' Goodness knows there are MANY situations in which they'd come in handy!
Amen to that DG. So many times children singing along, and some of them were older than 20! ARRRGH!!! where is my rolled up newspaper?
Where is everyone??? I'm lonley!
Hey, Mom. I just got back. I might not be here for long, either. :)
Life is ok. Got some apartments to look at, a few jobs to go to tomorrow...and the Equity website even shows that there are some auditions to attend! Wooo!
Great news, pumpkin. I'm sure you'll get something soon. You just need to find the right vehicle as far as work. Let us know how the auditions go. Good luck with the apartments too.
Good thoughts are all yours bway! Goodluck with the apartment

Hey, I'm heeeeeeeeeere!
Everyone must be pooped out or trying to get stuff done before the Convention airing tonight.
It was very Wednesday for me...I am getting a lot done with the boss gone on vacation--mostly by volleying into his "in" basket.
It'll all come home to roost next week.
Roost...Rooster...Chicken...Superchicken...
Sorry folks, just gotta do this:
The Super Chicken Theme Lyrics
When you find youself in danger,
When you're threatened by a stranger,
When it looks like you will take a lickin',
(puk, puk, puk, puk)
There is someone waiting,
Who will hurry up and rescue you,
just Call for Super Chicken!
(puk, ack!)
Fred, if you're afraid you'll have to overlook it,
Besides you knew the job was dangerous when you took it
(puk, ack!)
He will drink his super sauce
And throw the bad guys for a loss
And he will bring them in alive and kickin'
(puk, puk, puk, puk)
There is one thing you should learn
When there is no one else to turn to
Call for Super Chicken!
(puk, puk, puk, puk)
Call for Super Chicken!
(puk, ack!)
