Please tell me it's not the Coulter character that strips? Sounds interesting - and the point of this piece is what?

It's about Lindh, the American Taliban guy (and it's not the one that played the Fringe Festival).
I played the Taliban guy. It was very fun and quite a stretch from my usual fun-loving self.
It's not a happy musical, KMF, but it is, surprisingly, ultimately uplifting.

DG, it's actually a VERY interesting show. Lindh, waiting to be sentenced in his jail cell, is visited by the ghost of the first American soldier killed in Afghanistan. The piece explores what it means to be an American, the disillusionment, the privilege, and ultimately arrives at a sort of understanding between the two characters that they might not be that far apart.

DG, the composer really attempted to be rather modern. The better pieces tend to generate some sort of melody. When he sinks into a melody that actually lasts for any length of time, it's quite shockingly good. But, far too often, there's an attempt at cleverness...and I always subscribe to the theory that you kind of have to let cleverness or "Art" happen on its own and trying to force it only makes it look bad.
But, my understanding is that I have a new song to sing and several of the previous pieces have been rewritten.

Well, to be honest, I've done so many readings and subsequent demos that I don't even know if some of them have been produced and I just missed it. :)
But, after doing the initial reading of this, I felt very different and thought it had a chance; not to mention that they seemed very pleased with me and have attempted to keep in touch and check in on my availability from time to time.
