I just want to interject a little thought here. There have been occasions for people on this board to show REAL support and outreach to each other - grandmothers and dogs come to mind.
I just want to go on record as saying that I MUCH PREFER when people are treating each other like other human beings instead of the recepticles for the torment and pain of their own lives.
So, thank you to those of you - most of which I've met through this retirement home - who know what it's like to live a life, and allow others to do the same.

Yes KMF, have another beer because if I keep having vodka, the beer is the only way my typing will make sense to you.

137 was the First mention of Idina hands and the page where I made Bwaysinger my houseboy.
Nyad, on one page I was telling you that I know someone who was looking for a job....did you have an opening or were we playing around?

NY - 'retirement home' means something very different to me - it's when you've reached the point in life when you realize what counts and what doesn't - and I just think we're all smart enough to have figured that out a little sooner than most!

Nina - I wasn't just playing around. I'd love to help out any way I can. I'll PM you tomorrow to get specifics.
And, one more person I want to mention. Beacon has always been a source of wonderful thoughts and memories and song lyrics, and she hasn't been posting much lately - and I just want to let her know she has been missed.

Good night Cyndy. Do come back and play again. This thread can be intimidating when you first enter but, you'll quickly catch on that it moves fast and you don't always have to stay on topic.
