We're not scary, just crazy in a fun way. I guess I'll go to bed too and try to read a little more of I, Lucifer so I can have it finished for our discussion. Good night and sweet dreams to everyone who is still awake.

Captain - I think the appropriate response to fear, in this case, is to run away.
And may I say I was also thinking about Beacon earlier this evening - actually, even talked about her over dinner. I'll look forward to her beautifully 'open' return.

It isn't your place to tell me where I can go and where I can't.
So what if I come off as a cynic...I'm not one in person.

Captain - 'So what' if you come across as a cynic? Well, it will affect the communication you're trying to have - in a realm that has already been established without you. So, feel free to continue your approach - I have no doubt as to the response you shall receive.
By the way, did you ever answer the question of why you were using your exes picture as an icon?

But I've been watching this one since his first post, and am curious about a couple of things.

Captain - here is my perspective - and I emphasize the MY part of that statement, for I would NEVER presume to speak for anyone else here, or anywhere else for that matter:
Your entrance here into the 'adult' thread consisted of four words, "This thread scares me." How, exactly, would you think that people are going to respond to that? No matter what else is going on here at BWW, this thread has exemplified people trying to connect and respond to each other with respect and dignity. Just tonight, we were dealing with issues of assault, death and remembrance. Where, exactly do your taunts figure into this equation?
And lest you think there is any kind of alientaion inherrant, I invite you to read back to where Cyndy introduced herself. It's amazing what happens when you approach with an open heart and mind to any situation - no matter how 'annonymous' it may appear.
You leave no room for approach, as your persona reeks of negativity and disdain. While that is certainly a viable choice for you, I can assure you it won't get you anywhere on THIS thread. There are plenty of people on this board who are willing to engage in the acerbic dialogue that you seem drawn to - please feel free to seek them out and enjoy the interaction. We here do not wish to have that influence, and would appreciate your respect of our wishes.

"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen."

Good Morning Mom...seems like they had fun without us last night. I was exhausted and I thought I sent my mugged friend off to bed. I was glad to see that the drugs kicked in and she stayed up and played ... I'm sure she's sore today. Sending kisses to NYadgal's bruises XXXX.
Welcome to our new playmate Cyndy.
Nina...I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your friend, I send my love and condolences.
DG..the Veuve at the Rainbow Room sounds divine. BTW...just order your tickets for "Take Me Out" because I don't think we're going to be able to make it. Just too much going on now to plan a weekend out to LA...sorry. If anything changes I will let you know.
Everyone have a WONDERFUL day. Hope we're all up for playing later tonight.

I'm just Ducky! We WERE having a good time - can you imagine? All the way up until Captain Oblivious poked around in here - but I think we may have solved that for the time being.
Morning, mom.

Do some people just like to come into this thread to see how we will react to them??? I guess they don't realize that we won't tolerate it and will defend each other. Everyone is welcome, but don't F*** with us.

Well, darling, as long as you're in here flashing all that fabulous boobage, the allure is understandable
Sorry you can't make it out for Take Me Out (believe me, I understand!) Let me know who your friend in the cast is so we can say hello and talk about you.

Morning all! I'm a bit fuzzy this morning. I had yet another late evening business meeting in Philly (and one two many dirty's). So much happens during your evening chat. I 'm so glad that I can catch up first thing each morning.
Sadly I recently lost a friend to liver cancer. Frank's service is this afternoon and they have already had to change the venue because of the expected turnout. He was an extremely dynamic and visionary member of his community and his impact will be felt for a very long time. I also still have to pack ... I'm off to Miss America tomorrow morning. This will be the 25th year that I have sat in Convention Hall enjoying the pageantry! Don't forget to watch on Saturday evening. We need the ratings!

His name is Ian Barford. Him, Lusia and Michael all went to college together..ISU (Illinois). Michael's last visit to LA he stayed with Ian (pronounce Yahn) and actually helped him rehearse for the audition for TMO.

My mother went into labor with me during the Miss America Pageant - I don't think she ever forgave me for making her miss the end!
