Morning SOMMS...I was thinking of you last night when they said all government buildings in Trenton were closed...I said well, SOMMS is off tommorrow. Glad to see NOT from BWW.

Orion sweetie....we need to introduce you to TIVO. I don't know how I lived without it. If I didn't have it I would've committed murder last night during the awards. Grandma kept saying "Who's this? Who's that? What did he/she say? ". We had to keep pausing the show. I was hysterical because she sat there and kept applauding and you know she has no idea why. Anytime someone won and it sounded like the person was Italian she let out a "woo"...and say..."he/she is Italian." That makes a big difference to her.

Oh Undi....you know I wanted to be there, but I have dinner plans with a friend who is in from San Diego tonight. the adults will continue smoking, in this or another thread.
Hopefully tonight these friends and me can figure out a plan for our Tuscany trip too.

KMF, I didn't mean that you guys who were here were boring. I was stuck at my coputer for much of the afternoon yesterday trying to create a flyer to use as advertising during the HRC auction where my painting will be sold. Thatw as around the time that everyone who wasn't off to another part of the country was at the flea market and there was nobody here to help me slack off from my task.

I'm loving this spending Monday morning in bed doing nothing routine. I could get used to it.

Undi - am very jealous of Hair tonight. I'll be on the red-eye back to NYC (no Chicago - yippee!)

Reading all the trade papers reviews of the broadcast last night...the big bash that my company threw was quite the success, drawing people from the HBO and Showtime parties...go figure! I think pictures will be posted in the next day or two - so I'll post a link. See if you can figure out which one I am the adults will continue smoking, in this or another thread.

Boobs - what goes on the road stays on the road...no telling!

I'm looking at October 1st for my next trip there. I'll know for certain when I get back to the office tomorrow.

You would pass up a trip to LA with me to play Spades with the guys??? (good choice, actually - I love that game!)

I'm going to Paris the first weekend of November - but could plan something after that....hmmmmm....

We used to play "spades" all the time up in the Poconos on weekend getaways when I first started working on Wall St. Well after losing one of our friends in the WTC, we decided to start playing again, once every other month, this way we get to see each other and to keep our friend's memory alive. the adults will continue smoking, in this or another thread.

Let's try to pick a weekend in November and see if it'll work.

Boobs - that's a wonderful tradition. Your friend would be honored, I'm sure!

I have my monthly 'game night' - but not for so noble a cause. We just all like playing games - hosts choice.


The first weekend of November is out, for me (11/5). Which means that the next weekend would be a bit hard take another day off. And then we're getting into Thanksgiving...which means we're getting into Christmas! HELP!! The year is disappearing before my eyes!!

What are you doing in January???

BTW...has anyone heard anything from our old friend Beacon??? It seems she just disappeared. She usually sends a morning "howdy" to Eddie Varley and I haven't seen her do that in a long time either. the adults will continue smoking, in this or another thread.

I love playing games -- big fan of Hearts myself and some of the classic board games....love the strategy and planning (and I like to try to win too)...anytime anyone is up for a game night, just holler!
