I am sure I knew how to play spades at one time, but Hearts took over in our family -- love dropping the "b*tch" card on someone! (Queen of spades)...it can be such a vicious and cut-throat game!

Canasta is one of those i've always wanted to learn... i LOVE Hearts, but difficult to find people to play with...

Canasta is a great game! It's one I frequently choose when I'm host (I think I told you guys about my game night about 200 pages ago. I have a group of friends and one Saturday night a month we go to someone's apartment and cook a simple dinner, open a few bottles of whatever and play games - everything from cards to Trivial Pursuit to Twister. I look forward to it so much!

I don't play mah jong, Undi - but would love to learn!

(oh, and game night isn't just girls...and it gets very competitive (boys vs. girls). Guess who usually wins?! )
