John Denver wrote a song that referrenced the concept of being held close by seeing the same things in the sky:
Shanghai Breezes
John Denver
It's funny how you sound as if you're right next door
when you're really half a world away
I just can't seem to find the words I'm looking for
to say the things that I want to say
I can't remember when I felt so close to you
it's almost more than I can bear
And though I seem a half a million miles from you
you're in my heart and living there
And the moon and the stars are the same ones you see
it's the same old sun up in the sky
And your voice in my ear is like heaven to me
like the breezes here in old Shanghai
DG - that song is precious to John and me.
DG How did you know I was thinking of that song? Have always loved this one.
My grandmother would have said that if you felt her tapping your shoulder to KNOCK IT OFF! She never let anybody get away with anything.

NY - I would imagine, since you're rarely in the same country, much less the same city. Amazing, though, how the heart goes with you
It is amazing, DG. A gift.
Ok - so this brings me to a question....Do you guys have or experienced stuff like ESP?
Yes. And I knew you were going to ask that.
(just kidding)
Seriously - I have had experiences with that.

Well, NY and mom - maybe there IS something to the spirits hanging around to guide and comfort - and if there is, then I'd be very happy if John were flying high above my head like an eagle in the sun.
Bobby the last I time experienced ESP I was with you and NYadgal to be honest.
DG -- John Denver, right?
just checking - because if you were talking about MY John...that's a little too long distance, even for me

NY - oops, sorry Yes, John Denver.
My mother is famous for proclaiming after an event happens that she "had a premonition". I actually do have lots of vu da jay moments.
Hey Boobs - next time...speak up!
all kidding aside - I find that I get 'premonitions' for things...and I've learned to pay attention.
NY..you know I've learned my lesson.
Testing to make sure this thread doesn't blow up, Rob??
I just got a feeling that Rob was testing to see if this thread was getting ready to blow up. Updated On: 9/28/04 at 01:37 PM
Okay, NY, that was scary. I'm a believer.

When I was a teenager, I used to do testing for the Edgar Cayce Foundation (a sort of 'think tank' for the paranormal) - very interesting results are achieved on a regular basis - certainly enough to give one pause for thought.
NY..he came and went. *play music from Twilight Zone*
