DG - that song is precious to John and me.

DG How did you know I was thinking of that song? Have always loved this one.
"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen."

My grandmother would have said that if you felt her tapping your shoulder to KNOCK IT OFF! She never let anybody get away with anything.

NY - I would imagine, since you're rarely in the same country, much less the same city. Amazing, though, how the heart goes with you

Well, NY and mom - maybe there IS something to the spirits hanging around to guide and comfort - and if there is, then I'd be very happy if John were flying high above my head like an eagle in the sun.

My mother is famous for proclaiming after an event happens that she "had a premonition". I actually do have lots of vu da jay moments.

Hey Boobs - next time...speak up!
all kidding aside - I find that I get 'premonitions' for things...and I've learned to pay attention.

When I was a teenager, I used to do testing for the Edgar Cayce Foundation (a sort of 'think tank' for the paranormal) - very interesting results are achieved on a regular basis - certainly enough to give one pause for thought.
