Rodney has the last post on over 20% of the threads on this first page - does that indicate something about his conversational skills?

Hello again I hate when real life takes me away from posting.
So it sounds like Mt St. Helens is going to erupt again? Yikes, I hope folks will head the warnings this time. I was lucky enough to be in Washinton a few years before the big eruption visiting family, it was a wonderous site to behold.

Rodney - not really making a point - just an observation that prompted the question. It does seem a bit unusual, and I'm just wondering what could be the cause, that's all.

I think Mr. K is trying a bit to hard to achieve "legend" status.

You said...
"Rodney has the last post on over 20% of the threads on this first page - does that indicate something about his conversational skills?"
this first page.. you mean the list of threads?
Are you thinking I piss people off so bad that they give up and go away?
or are you thinking people see that I was the last poster and think "I'm not even interested in what that guy has to say" ?
or are you thinking I'm such a sharp wit that people can't possibally come up with a retort to anything I say?

Rodney - If I were to hazard a guess, I'd say it's because you launched into posting so forcefully, that people haven't had a chance to get your on-line personality into perspective, which leaves them unsure at times how to react or respond to you. Apparently, as even you yourself have made clear, you have posted here before, and some posters seem to have that in mind when communicating with or about you. I myself have neither the interest nor time to keep track of who or what anyone presents themselves as - I simply take it at face value and move on.
