Hmm. I have a feeling Jose won't have too much to catch up on later. I don't think I'll be lasting much longer myself. I keep hitting the wrong keys and having to go back and fix it.

I hung out with Cheyenne Jackson in his dressing room waayyyyyy before he tickled D2.

Wow sounds like I missed a great party! Darm me and my sleepiness! I forgot who posted it a few pages back but a huge thank you and (((HUG))) to whom ever posted the cast list for the Jack and the Beanstalk movie. I have always loved that one!
Here is a scary confession, most of my Saturdays were spent at the roller rink! I use to skate in competitions, pairs and dance, (How is that for a scary memory?)

This morning The Today Show has KC and the Sunshine Band on as their musical guest...and just finished profiling Evil Knievel.

I think the TV Programmers are reading this thread!! LOLOL!

Something was flitting around in my brain all last night, but I couldn't think of it. I even made a few phone calls to see if anyone could remember, but they acted like I was out of my mind. Could have had something to do with the way I was describing it. I'll remind them of it later. As soon as I started to fall asleep, it hit me. After all that, I'm praying someone else remembers this:

All: Who stole the cookie from the cookie jar?
Number whatever starts: Number 3 stole the cookie from the cookie jar.
Number 3: Who me?
All: Yes, you.
Number 3: Couldn't be.
All: Then who?
Number 3: Number ?......

I had Magically Delicious Lucky Charms for breakfast this morning...

Sorry I missed the rest of last night. Got too tired and have to run to a wedding right now.

Back later...

Movie Memory:
"Yours, Mine and Hours" with Lucille Ball and Henry Fonda. That was the first movie my friends and I attend alone w/o parents actually in the theater with us. They just provided the transportation. We felt sooo cool.

And, help me with this: Who played the salon owner Lottie on "Here Comes the Brides." I probably should just google it, huh...

And, I am going to confess that I actually owned a pair of Donny Osmond purple socks...

And, earlier someone mentioned Mr. Potatohead. I loved playing with that. And oh how it hurt when I stepped on one of those pieces and it stuck in my foot! OUCH OUCH OUCH

Where are we going, and why am I in this handbasket?

In the office today, but shortly heading to a matinee--damn, I go to matinees now!--the 60's again--CAROLINE x 2--

who else followed the romance of Liz and Dick during the making of CLEOPATRA?

That's free association with 1962, I guess.

I expect drinks will be being served by the time I return.

I think it's time to start filling the ice bucket!

I got a little scared when I logged on and had to scroll to the bottom of the page to find this thread...I wondered if it might have been deleted for some reason - like we've used up all available space! LOL. Was relieved to see it lurking near the bottom...

Just noticed that "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" is on one of my HBO channels. Have to say - I adored that book when I was little - it was magic. But, I wasn't a fan of the movie.

I'm going to go set up the bar - will be back in a bit. Hope everyone had/is having a great Saturday!

Come Saturday morning,
I'm going away with my friend.
We'll Saturday laugh til the end of the day -
Just I and my friend.
We'll travel for miles with our Saturday smiles.
And when it's all over,
We will remember,
Long after Saturday's gone.

-- that just came into my head (I'm sure I butchered the words...) - What was that song from? Who sang it? Anyone remember?

I have a hazy memory of it being bittersweet...
