Wow - a card was wrong?
Of course it was Pajama Game (duh - better hold off on those Whiskey Sours...). And I would have totally backed you on not being Damn Yankees! (I played Lola in a high school production - so much fun!!)
We just got the DVD game - so now bring out computer, TV and all other forms of electronic equiment to the game...

"I've got (knock - knock) sssssteam heat"
I used to love when I was in HS the smell of Sweet Honesty from Avon....all my girl cousins and friends wore it. The smell still brings back old memories.

Avon to me was all about the 'collector bottles'

Bboobs...
Did you tell the manufacturer about the error?
It seems like there are a couple of those mistakes in that first (genus) edition...
I miss playing Trivial Pursuit...and ya gotta have the correct mix of people. I once played with two girls who were really, exceptionally dim--something I hadn't noticed until that night.
One actually blew the question: "Who is Fred Flintstone's best friend."
Hey...did you guys play "Risk"--the boardgame about world domination?

I loved that, too Bboobs. Nothing like a scent to bring back a memory!
Whatever Lola wants....Lola gets...
No beacon1..as mad as I was about it I never did write the manufacturer. One day I'll find that card again.
My cologne of choice by the way in HS was Jovan Musk for men.
Anyone remember it??

Boobs - oh yes - mine was English Leather

English Leather
Canoe
Oh, and in 6th grade -- Old Spice
Now those were men's colognes. LOL
DGrant...my Mom every Christmas gave me an Avon cologne in a car...my dresser held many cars with cologne by Avon.
Musk - I sure do. My boyfriend in 9th grade wore it...
Yes, I played Risk and Stratego. I also liked the game Battleship... games of global domination..lol!!

We also had quite a few (alot!) of the special bourbon bottles that were from the 'decorator collection' - i can't remember which bourbon, though.

Stratego...those little vertical pieces...
Battleship (G7, D3...You sunk my battleship!)
Men's cologne: Dad work Old Spice and Aqua Velva
Grandpa had English Leather...and was there a British Sterling, too???
And, one of my HS crushes work Jovan Musk. mmmmmmm.
And I remember Sweet Honesty and Moonglow by Avon. I loved the little bottles. Moonglow came in one shaped like a little beehive.

Speaking of Locker Room scenes... (and I know you meant Damn Yankees, but I'm changing direction a bit...)
Gym uniforms. God awful! In junior high we had hideous green 'jumpsuits' that looked horrible on EVERYONE! I was pretty athletic, but Gym class was torture!
I still have a bottle..don't know what kind of alcohol was in it...but it has a ballerina in the middle of the bottle and you wind it up underneath and it looks like she's dancing it the bottle.
Glad to see the thread is still going strong. It's gone from 34 to 55 in a day and a half so I haven't had time to catch up on my reading. I'm down in my hometown where I went to high school. I look around trying to recognize people I went to school with but everyone seems so much older and I don't think of myself as old. Having fun though with all the memories.

There would always some boy who'd never show after gym class.

Gym class - oh my god - I remember as a junior we had to pick either wrestling or gymnastics for a term - all the girls took gymnostics, all the boys took wrestling - I chose gymnastics, cause I was afraid of what would happen if I rolled all over the floor with the other guys - never did hear the end of that! beacon - Trivial Pursuit is so disappointing if you don't play with people who are good at it. I have a 'regular' game night with friends - one Saturday a month we gather at someone's home and cook a simple dinner and play games...from TP to cards...hosts choice. It's lots of fun.
Gosh - Avon collector bottles. I'd forgotten about them.
And Liquour bottles always had fabulous shapes...made the drink so much more intersting!

gym uniforms...yuck. We later had T-shirts and shorts to wear. Hated them. Hated them.
And wearing ski-pants under my dress when it was cold since I had to walk to school. I detested that. I felt like such a baby.
And really super pointy tips on sweatshirt hoods.

Did you all have school mascots? We were the 'Chiefs' - SO politically incorrect - somehow we weren't scarred for life.
I went to an all boy Catholic HS and the first day they gave us our uniforms...shirt,shorts and jock strap. 1 Poor kid didn't know what to do with the jock so he put it on his head and behind his ears and walked into the gymnasium ready to play basketball..need I said more of what followed???
